Callouts

Featured Replies

Hi.I was following the manual in this part - "To ensure that no duplicate V1, VR and V2 calls are heard, please set the "F/O CALLOUT"' options below to 'NO" via the "SIMULATION" menu in the PMDG 737 NGX's FMC." and I did, but now I do not have V1 and V2 callouts.Thank you.

FS2Crew doesn't call out V2... that's not a Boeing SOP.FO should call out V1 though...Did you enter V1 in the FMC? That's where FS2Crew gets the value from to trigger the V1 call.Best,
OK, I based on - "V1, VR and V2 calls are heard, please set the "F/O CALLOUT " from manual so I thought FO calls all three. And yes, I entered all speeds in FMC as usually.Thank you

No, I do not. I had to enable CA calls to have at least something. I may need to reinstall it. May be something went wrong.Thank you.

Sure you're were in the right mode?Did you announce "Takeoff"? That's a necessary condition.
Yes I did. I followed the procedure. Thank you.Bryan. What callout settings are correct in FMC, for both- CA and FO? It is said to disable FO's callouts only, may be CA callouts intervene and that's why we have this issue. Thank you.

Ed,I'm sorry, maybe I'm missing something, but where in the FMC is there an option for Captain's call. The PMDG aircraft it self does not have any availble.Try re-installing SP1C.... that's helping a lot of people with weird issues.Cheers,
I think I am confused myself already. I meant I disabled V2 and I enable it back in FO side. There are no CA callouts. Sorry. I will try to re-install Sp1c. Thank you for trying to help.

May be I misunderstand your problem, sorry if I'm but just in case, there is a V1 PLANE callout in the PMDG Equipment Menu : I leave it ON.There are the FO callouts V1, VR, V2 in the PMDG Simulation Menu page 3 : I put V1>Off, VR>Off and V2>ONNormally during TO the FO FS2C calls 80kt then V1 then PMDG PLANE calls V1 then FO FS2C calls Rotate then PMDG FO calls V2. Works perfectly there. If you want you may set the PMDG PLANE call V1>>>Off or/and the PMDG FO V2>>>Off. It's your choiceHope this help,Regards,Richard Portier
