March 17, 201214 yr " happy " St patricks day-St patrick is a religious holiday. Ironically the people who most celebrate it are not religious at all.Quite the opposite,. It has become a day or in some cases an entire weekend, to be drunk and overeat.Furthermoore, DUI is a huge problem. But bigger than that is the number of folks who die in the accidents....I find it absurd to call that happy sir. I would call it sad. Peter Osborn

I would call it sad.Oh sir how I agree with you, it is quite the sad occasion when people celebrate their National day and take pride in their country, it's a terrible thing really. And I'm sure that you'd agree with me when I say, I think that the 4th of July is also a very sad occasion. It has become a day where people willy nilly set off fire work displays. The numbers injured by fireworks each year is an attrocity. After all those firework accidents I don't know why anyone would celebrate pride in their nation?
