So much fro Flight's realistic flight model :)
Didn’t everybody knew about Slew mode (aka “Y” keypress) on FSX?I did and could reach the stratosphere, so I fail to see the difference. On topic: The Icon on that pic will fall like a rock.A cheater might cheat on us, but he or she won't be able to cheat life.

If it is cheating, is not worth making any fuss about it.
It occurs to me that there are possibly only two places in life where cheating can be considered a "good thing..."
  1. a battle
  2. diplomacy

I seem to recall quotes for both that state "If you aren't cheating, you're not trying hard enough..." or words to that effect. :good:

Wow! What strangely angry reactions to the 'cheating' picture. It might even have been photo-shopped, but so what? It's just a game we are all in - and it's not even competitive, not really...So whether a visual joke, or a cunning file manipulation, I think we all know the Icon is not really capable of that sort of flight...Mikrco - I appreciate the humour of the image - thanks for sharing :)

Any game is as competitive as you want it to be. Even Mario Kart or Tinker can be extremely competitiveI know Mikro, he is a good man, and I believe he is joking. God knows how many hours we spent on multiplayer looking for the SR-71.But fact is that someone posted a link to a hacked savegame on another thread, thus enticing people to cheat. And that in my opinion is plain wrong.

I just hope he can recover from that stall in time...
well, there is enough space to recover. question is rather whether his better half put the oxygen bottle in the lunch bag...

Or has lungs big enough... Well, if he gets over Mach on his descent it shouldn't take THAT long.

I believe that too since it is soooo obvious a cheat or even photoshopped that he cannot have expected to get through with it.

Hey - at least the engine appears to have stopped from oxygen starvation...

So, after running that save-file and popping in at FL86 - how do you actually get the aerocache? I can't seem to get the Icon to it in time before falling into the FL70s. . .

I dont really get the people talking about the need of an helicopter for accessing some aerocaches? I have managed to get them all, except "The curvature of the Earth". For the trickiest ones, I used the Icon, as it can pick those tricky waterfall aerocaches...
