March 20, 201214 yr For the trickiest ones, I used the Icon, as it can pick those tricky waterfall aerocaches...Used the VANS for all of these except Waipoo and another I can't remember the name of..Inverted down the face of the cliff and roll out at the bottom..Only crashed once, tried to use JvE's map cheat (hit M as soon as you crash) but it didn't work! How do we get the glider one?bestjake JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
March 20, 201214 yr Mustang will get the glider one easily. (or wait for a better plane with a cockpit and get it at a later date) ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
March 20, 201214 yr Thanks, Bill..I'm not the target market for the P-51 :-) I like a cockpit..I had a hard time with the P-51 in FSX too..I'll wait :) JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
March 20, 201214 yr it is still in beta. Guess someone better tell MS were Alaska is...Haha I was talking about the Hawaiian one! Happy Flying, Clem Wu Beta Tester for OZx, Iris Simulations and Shade.
March 20, 201214 yr I dont really get the people talking about the need of an helicopter for accessing some aerocaches? I have managed to get them all, except "The curvature of the Earth". For the trickiest ones, I used the Icon, as it can pick those tricky waterfall aerocaches...Same here, but I prefer the Icon when I need to land. The waterfalls were easier in the RV for me, just screaming down the valley and pulling out at the last moment :).
March 20, 201214 yr "Did you crash AGAIN?"... the sound my wife made while I was finishing up the waterfall aerocaches...
March 20, 201214 yr Another strategy for the waterfall caches is to just land on the bluffs above and walk down to them. B)
