Ailerons don't steer planes on the ground. You only use them to correct for wind. Use the rudder. You should taxi at a jogging pace, that is if you are trying to keep it real.

those points are not redeemable. They are just there to show off to others.
I thought those XP points in your profile (in the hundreds of thousands) are to show off whereas I understood that for my modest 320 XP (which are only shown in the marketplace app) you can indeed buy something since these XP (or whatever they are called) can even be bought - unless you don't use your credit card right away. I mean if I collect enough XP to get the Mustang I may actually change my mind - getting it 'for free' might be an option, otherwise a non-cockpit plane is not for me

I'm thinking of the points you get when you win an achievement. Those don't allow you to purchase anything, unless something had changed.Hook,Let me rephrase my statement. it is incorrect to use the ailerons to steer. It is also dangerous in RL.

Yes, and did you try it in the game? The plane gets a very slight steering effect in the opposite direction of the aileron. I use it mostly to know if I'm above or below 13 knots ground speed. I discovered it when I was doing aileron into the wind during taxi. I'm surprised others haven't noticed and commented on it.Hook

if those are the points you get for e.g. doing the RV6 landing mission or the clandestine cargo then yes, can't buy anything for those. but then there are these I guess they call it Achievements with XP between 5 and 50. See http://aerocache.com/?page_id=556 with a list. These XP show not in your pilot statistic but in your GfW/Live Marketplace account.

FSX already behaved this way, so I never thought about it. (ailerons).I'll have to check out the points on the marketplace. I've got some spending to do.

I flew a load of cats last night... and during the flight, they occasionally make small 'meows'... so here I am concentrating on my flight and all of a sudden my real life cat hops onto my lap and starts looking for whatever is making those noises... lol As real as it gets? SHE sure thought so!

:LMAO:Now that is hilarious!

Points you get for achievements are tallied to generate your "Gamerscore." These points can't be used to purchase DLC. DLC can be purchased via credit card or paypal at Xbox.com, or by using "Microsoft Points," which is just their proprietary space-cash system. Microsoft Points can be acquired through Xbox and Zune, or by purchasing preloaded cards from retailers.Again, you CANNOT use Gamerscore to purchase DLC.
