March 22, 201214 yr Hey,Is anyone using the new A2A Accu-Feel software with their PMDG 737NGX? I was curious if it works well with this plane and if it adds an improved overall feel to the plane on the ground and in the air?ThanksMax Max PMDG 747X & 737NGX Pilot
March 22, 201214 yr Max,I was using it before FS2Crew came out, and I thought it added a lot on the ground with the rattles and shakes . In the air I think PMDG got it right as far as wind noise, etc.It is very configurable as far as sounds you want and don't want. With FS2Crew I use headset for voice and speakers for sounds but the Accu Feel sound come through the headset too and It sounds strange.Hope this helps,Glen
March 22, 201214 yr the sounds are right for me, and for the feeling, it adds a lot in every situation, again especially for little planes (i have a video on youtube, ''the ultra short landing'', where i attempt a go around but i stall.. And for the first time i experienced a wing stall!). For example i can make way smoother landings now, it ''feels'' better (have to try again without accu-feel, i think it reduced the 737 's tendency to float...)
March 22, 201214 yr have to try again without accu-feel, i think it reduced the 737 's tendency to float...I think we call that placebo effect. Accu-feel doesn't alter the 737's characteristics in anyway.Besides that, I'm not sure the sounds (wind, etc) could get much better than PMDG's default ones. The only thing that interests me with Accu-Feel in conjunction with the NGX is the cockpit rattle sounds for landing/takeoff and camera shake effects. Since I use EZDok and have it set very specifically, I think I'll forgo Accu-Feel, though it is ingeniously simple and neat. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
March 23, 201214 yr I'm not using Accu-Feel for any big jets..But for the G/A and biz-jets it's quite cool! Still... I'm never going to use it for NGX again Regards, Emil E. Nielsen

I might try it out, seems like a good add on that doesnt interfere with the plane at all. Thanks againMax Max PMDG 747X & 737NGX Pilot
March 24, 201214 yr make sure to turn down the brake sounds completely, you cant hear the brakes in the cockpit, theyre all on the main gear far away.
March 24, 201214 yr Commercial Member Yeah guys - brakes, tire squealing etc - you don't hear from an airliner class airplane's cockpit. The wind noise we have is a blend of a bunch of different recordings of the real thing at different airspeeds - no one else is going to have that more correct than we do - just a fact.Accu-Feel does not modify the flight model in any way for the record - it's a sound engine. Any handling differences you think you're seeing are in your mind... Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
March 24, 201214 yr Accu Feel is not just a sound engine. I can attest to that. I now have physical ground roll shake effects / bumps, overspeed buffeting and also stall buffeting on all aircraft. March 24, 201214 yr Accu-Feel is a wonderful little addon that enhances any plane and you can alter almost everthing to your personal preference. Roland Schmalzl

I think i'll pass on it now, it sounds like we already have the best :)-Travis "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." July 17, 201312 yr Hello, guys! Im experiencing difficulties getting the cockpit rattle and vibration sound during taxi and takeoff(and also during turbulence). Im using this addon with the NGX. I have tried modifying the different sliders, such as shock absorption, cabin integrity etc., without luck. There is absolutely no sound, besides the default ones. I can confirm the software is active. The break squeek works and so does the camera/ view enhancement. The plane also reacts to me adjusting these sliders, such as being very sensitive to bumps and so on. Does anyone know how to get these sounds working? Thanks in advance!
