May 12, 201214 yr I am just so taken by the beauty of the gorgeously, majestic 300ER..... and as those huge ginormous GE90-115Bs spool up for take off, the thunderous power emanating from them accompanied by the ever so sweet, mesmerizing but sometimes melencholy whine..... and I'm gone.... Tom

May 12, 201214 yr I wonder why they haven't ordered any 777-300ERs... They still have those original 777-200s. And they're great aircraft. I flew N777UA(first 777 delivered) back in October FRA-ORD and it was in wonderful shape having just been converted to the merged standard. It felt like a brand new aircraft on the inside. Back to topic, I'd also like the 772ER. I live in the US and fly AA and UA the most, therefore I would like the 772ER as that's what both airlines fly(yes, I know AA will be getting the 77W as well). Additionally, while this is somewhat contradictory, but if PMDG chooses to release the -LR as the base package and the -2ER as an additional cost option, I will not be purchasing the -ER. Just as I didn't purchase the -600 and -700 flavors of the 737NGX - too redundant. -john paul PMDG are going to make a lot of money from this,,, I doubt people would have honestly bought the LR expansion. From a business perspective, it makes perfect sense. If the -ER is in higher demand, include it as the extra cost option and leave the -LR as the base package. Therefore, if more of your customers want the -ER, they'll have to purchase both to get it. While I understand why they do it such as they do, it's rather irritating as a customer when what you really want is the -2ER. I don't really care for buying a model that I won't fly just to get the one that I will, and in that respect, I understand the frustrations the -600/-700 fans had when they had to purchase those separately.

It's easier for them to use the 77L as the base pack as it doesn't have 3 different types of engines and different performance they have to sort out as quickly as they would have if it was a expansion which it will be. They're doing just the 77L so us the customer can get it quicker, plus they have access to it. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see the 77W a month or two from the base pack, simply because they're almost the same Aircraft. Don't be shocked if the 772/ER is in low development but I imagine Jason is working on getting the 77L ready. I don't really think it's fair that PMDG should give expansions for free whatsoever as they're worth every single penny! I would pay 1,000+ for the Base Pack of the 777, how much I want it ha! But you have your opinion :) - Luke Pabari
