March 26, 201214 yr Hey Bob,Well, we'll be close if your going to be in West Palm, my wife and I are moving to Boca Raton. You lucky guy!! You have a cockpit! Man o Man, would I love to dive into that. We are headed to Hollywood and West Palm beach to visit friends and my son and his wife in May. I would move there in a second if I had the opportunity. March 26, 201214 yr Well Mike, I will be out there quite often as my 1st grandson will be arriving at the gate sometime in June. Maybe I could come over and get the tour.Let me know if you need any thing engraved for your cockpit. I do laser engraving and have access to some incredible plastics, metals and woods to do whatever you need.Bob Officially retired
March 26, 201214 yr Hey Bob,Well, we'll be close if your going to be in West Palm, my wife and I are moving to Boca Raton.I was born in Lake Worth, FL; grew up in Lantana, FL (Palm Beach County) until my twenties. Still have family down there. : )

I have been there a few times, the most recent for my 60th birthday. Don't tell anyone, but for my birthday I chose Disney World. The kid in me has never gone away!Bob Officially retired
March 26, 201214 yr Hi,Well, for me it's P3D. I haven't used FSX in over six months, P3D is that much smoother on my system/setup. Since you have not purchased FSX as of yet, I'm sure you don't have any third party addons for FSX as well. This begs the question, why dump cash into FSX, if P3D is (at the very least) just as good (personally, I believe it's better) and is still in development?. Also, are you willing to pay for FSX addons only to purchase any additional cross-over licenses (required by some developers) if and/or when you make the move to P3D?.Your position of not owning FSX and/or any third party addons puts you in a unique position of starting with P3D from the get-go. You'll be able to purchase FSX addons that will work with P3D, as well as purchase any P3D addons without having to pay any FSX/P3D cross-over licensing fees in the future. Wow, really? You haven't used FSX in over 6 months for uisng P3D? Are using the top add-ons on P3D? IS P3D able to use all processor cores effectively? So you mean no tweaking necessary...If "yes" is the answer to all of the above, then why are still using FSX ? Humm, help me understand!
March 26, 201214 yr Hey Bob,Well, we'll be close if your going to be in West Palm, my wife and I are moving to Boca Raton.Hi, neighbor. My wife and I live in Delray Beach :-) Always remember to Find Your FUN! -Bob
March 26, 201214 yr Hi, neighbor. My wife and I live in Delray Beach :-)Well, I am still in Houston but would love to live out there. Houston is the most terrible place I have ever lived. It the birds are not crapping on you the mosquito's are biting you. The skunks are everywhere and the possums are right behind them. The heat/humidity will make you sick. The traffic is absolutely terrible. The people are really friendly except when they are driving. Other than that it's a great place to live. No wonder it attracts business, because without the low taxes and other incentives, the population would be about 1/4 of what it is now. Ok I'm done now.Bob Officially retired

March 26, 201214 yr To the guys with P3DDo Bojote's tweaks work on it? Are they even needed?I am thinking about taking the plunge, but will probably wait until V2.0.I haven't needed to tweak at all. March 26, 201214 yr I am curious too as I use all 3 of those. Many have said that LM has optimized the code and many have said you do not need the tweaks, but I will bet you that in order to run ORBX the way I run it now, UsePools=0 will need to be used in order for me to have the same experience in P3D. I could be wrong of course but I cannot believe the code optimizations offer what this entry will.Bob Officially retired
March 26, 201214 yr Abilene.I guess that is considered central Texas. What is the weather like there in the summer? Do you have a lot of trees there? What about tornado's?Bob Officially retired

Cheers! Iain
