March 26, 201214 yr I'll piggyback here as well. I really like the -600/-700 series better than the -800/-900. As mentioned above, they all have their unique flying characteristics. I'm a fan of the -600. You can fly it anywhere. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
March 26, 201214 yr Being a pseudo Southwest buoy in the daytime, heck yea.. I had to have the 700..But I really like flying the 600 too, and made it into my private BBJ.But I run all of them at one time or the other.. The 800 has been kind of neglectedsince I got the 700, but when the SW 800's go into service this next month, I'llstart running it again on the routes that use that model.I run the United 737-900 every once in a while. March 26, 201214 yr If you think that you will get more enjoyment outa flying a shorter/lighter version of the 800/900 than yes. If the purchase will break the bank, then no. Just pretend your flying a 600/700. Buzz313th
March 26, 201214 yr Since Airtran is my home airline, and no one was going to paint a fictional-800, it was almost an obligatory purchase...
March 26, 201214 yr Worth every penny. Love it to fly in and out remote, desolated airports. Easy to handle. Regards, Joost de Wit
March 27, 201214 yr Bought it mostly to just fly the Alaska 700s. 600 has turned out to be such a blast to fly it is my new "just have fun" model. What a cool plane to fly! Ken EhlersF70
