March 30, 201214 yr Can someone with the Stearman confirm this? I was watching a video and the guy said that if he powered up the Stearman for takeoff, then quickly jumped out (like he was going to walk) that the plane would continue and takeoff on it's own. No adjustments to trim or anything else was done. Just wondering...Thanks!
March 30, 201214 yr Yes you can. Hit "E" a milisecond after "F4", and you will see your plane fly away. (R/C airplane) Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 30, 201214 yr If you want to keep control, just tap "R" to enter an actual R/C mode. Jumping out of the plane right after gunning the throttle will send it up without any controls, which looks cool, but can be a pain when you want to get back into your aircraft (and it can lead to you getting glitched and appearing as a nameless aircraft).
March 30, 201214 yr Can you believe some people actually think this is a bug? :DHook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
March 30, 201214 yr Tried it with my car once :-( It's not a bug .... March 30, 201214 yr Author Thanks guys! I didn't know the plane would control itself, which is interesting. Will have to try it someday!
March 30, 201214 yr It doesn't control itself, it just locks whatever position the controls are in when you exit. Also, this works in any aircraft.
March 30, 201214 yr Tried it with my car once :-( It's not a bug ....Lol. March 30, 201214 yr I just tried the remote control feature for the first time and it's pretty cool.Wanna see what that hammerhead looks like from the ground? This is the way.Fly the Stearman up to about 5000 feet and press "R". Your viewpoint will stay right there and you fly the plane like a RC plane.Sure we can do this in FSX with tower view but this way you get to choose where the camera position is.I think it's a great idea.regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
