IRIS or Milviz F-15

Featured Replies

Actually, the day burners look exactly like the real thing. The 229 engines do not show up very well in daylight. Google is your friend for that one.

The moving map is in there if you check the manual.

HD textures are there. There are 12 I believe for the vc and the same for the external. That's the same as 3 4k's.

In the end, it comes down to personal choice. And, of course, the ability to actually use the radar and weapon systems.

The 30 day money back guarantee is icing on the cake.

Thanks for your comments. They are all listened too.

Hi Milviz, And I may be wrong on a few things, here myself. To be honest, I tried to download the Unser manual; however, I kept getting a broken link. And, you are right.. the day time after-burners effects are certainly more dull during day time. in the real a/c.

You mention there are 12 HD textures. Fortunately I have a strong system which can handle the best HD graphics and textures...Without being able to acess the manual right now, could please point out as to how to choose the higest graphics both interior and exterior? I may have a lot of questions and reading to do; which is perferctly normal; however, in the meantime (as I wait to access the manual, could you please answer a few questions?

Other Question:

(1) How do I access the load and configuration's manager?

(2) How to select the best interior and exterior best HD graphics?

(3) Within FSX list of a/c to choose from,I notice there is a large anount of bombs showing under Milviz, is that normal or is it an incorrect installer in my part.

(4) And finally, Since I just ordered this product last night, is it fully updated with the lastest SP, or do I need to go to your website and look for the lastest SP and fixes, and install them?

Thank you in advance for your answers to my questions.

Johnny

For me, the Milviz was my choice because of its more realistic flight model. Here is a very good comparison, although it is translated from French to English:   http://translate.google.co.za/trans

From where did you buy the product? The manuals can be found on our site in the product area for the F-15e.

Shift 3 loads the weapons but must be done prior to starting the engines.

The high rez textures are there by default.

For all of your other questions please go to our forums.

Thanks

hmm... the day burners look like the real thing, well first off all that depends on the humidity on the day, secondly on to where you are standing with the sunlight...

However and i honestely have to say, i dont have the Milviz plane, but i reckon with all the pictures, videos of its release, that i have to admit the burners do not look like the real thing.

This not with any disrespect of this product from Milviz saying..

And Johnny767, yes the Iris ownes a moving map...and better AB too, as the Aerosoft F-16 and the VRS Bug

Take a look at this:

I purchased it going through your website, then submitting payment through Flight 1.. Hence my question is, does my download contains the latest SP and updats or do I need to go to your website and update my F-15?

Really? Why is that? Do we not get an opinion? Are we not allowed to try to "sell" or defend our product? Does this mean that people like Cody don't get to show videos? Or us? What would you have us do exactly?

I do not mean to start a flame war AGAIN but I'm sorry but I disagree with your statement most vociferously...

If I want a sales pitch I'll go to your website.

This is a thread about which is better for the customer. Do you think your answer is of any value whatsoever? Or appropriate in any way?

What are you going to say? "Ours is crap, you better buy IRIS's?"

News just in folks. A company wants you to buy their product.

Keep the marketing spiel to your website and leave it at that.

Completely disagree. I don't mind if developers post in these threads, particularly because they can have in-depth, factual knowledge about their products which may be very valuable in the decision making process.

You are correct,

I believe the thread started out as an un-bias opinion by customers for customers.

They can post all of that in any discussion threads about their product, on their website, and in all of the threads maintained in this forum about their product (including screenshot threads/release thread etc).

What is not acceptable in my book is to go into a thread independantly discussing two competitors products and for one competitor to come in and dissuade people from buying a competitors.

The trouble it it is very easy for a developer to lose their dignity by trawling thorugh forums searching for their name and then trying to add positive spin to every single post no matter how desperate it makes them look. There is another developer famous for that in these forums and he is a bit of a laughing stock now and his company seems to have disbanded. The product should rest on it's own merit without the developer's input once it has been released. If it doesn't then it's probably not worth having anyway. As soon as I see a developer enter the discussion I usually leave as it will either become a desperate sales pitch or a slanging match and any chance of a fair and balanced opinion of the product evaporates. .

valuable in decision making ? Maybe in brain-washing.While a developer can sure overpraise his product he will never tell you his product sucks and/or others are better than his..unless he wants to commit business suicide.

Opinions are never un-biased.

Maybe in brain-washing.

That's what critical thinking is for. Avoiding illogical, irrational conclusions.

How would a vendor help you with illogical conclusions ? He wants to sell you stuff no matter what.

Thank you, Milviz

What I mean is that critical thinking allows an individual to evaluate the statements and opinions of others and recognize unsupported claims, opinions, and logical fallacies. Just because they want to sell something does not mean their statements have zero value for prospective buyers. And if a customer can't make the distinction between facts and opinion, that is their own issue. Of course, I don't appreciate developers criticizing others, but I think it is acceptable to allow them to state the merits or features of their products. But alas, that is my opinion and you are entitled to yours. B)
