IRIS or Milviz F-15

Featured Replies

I have been waiting to buy a F-15E and have already per-ordered the trac pak. I am wondering how the immersion factor is with FSX instead of a stand alone combat sim?

For me, the Milviz was my choice because of its more realistic flight model. Here is a very good comparison, although it is translated from French to English:   http://translate.google.co.za/trans

I think we should let the people here talk about it with out developers always trying to weigh in on the discussion.

We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh.

Really? Why is that? Do we not get an opinion? Are we not allowed to try to "sell" or defend our product? Does this mean that people like Cody don't get to show videos? Or us? What would you have us do exactly?

I do not mean to start a flame war AGAIN but I'm sorry but I disagree with your statement most vociferously...

Completely agree. Let the developers espouse the merits of their efforts.

Meh... perhaps I shouldn't have said anything. I was just stating that the video I'm working on is finally coming to fruition. I don't like getting involved in these sorts of things and would rather opt that hard work gets more accomplished than my mouth. Often times the loudest people have the least to say.

Have a good one folks. :)

Well, well, well...If I could get both, I would. However, no need to; I just need one. I have made up my mind that with only one of these, I can blow-up everyone I want to-- even the developers (ikes, sorry guys). jejeje. Well, which will it be? I am hungry for some noise, the smell of of some jet fuel, and some HD graphics and special effects.

Then the Mil-Viz bird is what you want if you want to be able to blow up things now.

Same if you want to have a very realistic flight model

 Well, I just got the Milviz; however, I am a bit concern about the day afterburners effects-- too dull and unrealistic. I also got a bit diappointed with the internal graphics, a bit too dull (VC lightinng) for my taste. I like it strong and, HD , and smoother. And (correct me if I worng) But, there is No GPS moving Map ..I guess I've been spoiled by the VRS F-18. I wonder how the Iris compares to the above mentioned concerns -- such as a GPS Moving Map! And, the strobe lights. Damme it...loooks like I'm heading towards a refund.

Actually, the day burners look exactly like the real thing. The 229 engines do not show up very well in daylight. Google is your friend for that one.

The moving map is in there if you check the manual.

HD textures are there. There are 12 I believe for the vc and the same for the external. That's the same as 3 4k's.

In the end, it comes down to personal choice. And, of course, the ability to actually use the radar and weapon systems.

The 30 day money back guarantee is icing on the cake.

Thanks for your comments. They are all listened too.
