  • The Milviz one, imo. :P   Seriously, check out this: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?64207-Iris-Mudhen-or-Milviz-F-15&highlight=Milviz

For me, the Milviz was my choice because of its more realistic flight model. Here is a very good comparison, although it is translated from French to English:   http://translate.google.co.za/trans

Ignore MYB, he's clearly trying to muddy the waters and is acting generally as a Negative Nancy. Same thing happened with T-38.

It is not forgotten.

Not sure what juice you're on.I think you are confused.I have the milviz T-38 and I like it.I don't remember saying anything negative about the t-38. I did ask questions about the plane. Just because I ask for info and don't fall for the usual " this is great" and other propaganda and hoopla does not make me a negative nancy.

And if a customer can't make the distinction between facts and opinion, that is their own issue.

I can't agree with the above.

Keep in mind that these boards are also frequented by newbies. When you are green and you just start out you cant make the distinction you're talking about. You just think that if somebody says a plane/product is great it has to be so. Why would they say otherwise. They sure know more than you do.. and out the window the money goes.

I think it boils down to this between the two products:

The IRIS product has a nicer HUD, lighting, and shared cockpit, and the Milviz product has more complete weapons, a more realistic flight model, and the option of a refund within 30 days. Both are about the same price, and the modeling is pretty close between them, although the Milviz appears to have gotten the dimensions of the nose a bit closer to the real thing, although I don't care so much about externals because I spend 99% of my time in the virtual cockpit. They are both good products and what I would recommend to prospective buyers is to get the Milviz first, and if you aren't satisfied you can return it and buy the IRIS. With that approach, you get the option of trying both while only paying for one product in the end if you keep one.

I'm not seeing your behaviour the way you describe it in this thread, rather opposite in fact. I like the 38 too.

"Just because I ask for info and don't fall for the usual " this is great" and other propaganda and hoopla does not make me a negative nancy."

Oops I was not clear. My above statement was in reference to the questions I might have asked about the _T38_ and that you could have seen/interpreted as "negative".

hmm... the day burners look like the real thing, well first off all that depends on the humidity on the day, secondly on to where you are standing with the sunlight...

However and i honestely have to say, i dont have the Milviz plane, but i reckon with all the pictures, videos of its release, that i have to admit the burners do not look like the real thing.

This not with any disrespect of this product from Milviz saying..

And Johnny767, yes the Iris ownes a moving map...and better AB too, as the Aerosoft F-16 and the VRS Bug

Take a look at this:

Awesome vid mde by a kid only 14 years of age!

Best regards

MustagX, what about the graphics (textures), I imagine they are HD but over all... how does the interior and exterior looks like...Is it of high quality (eye candy) like the PMDG 737 or the VRS F-18 ?

Well let me explain this, it has rheostat lightning and even de monitors can be adjusted, even when you look behind the seat its like the real thing.

And when you have a buddy who doesnt wants to fly, but be with you in the backseat, he can flip the switches too....just reasure he won't blow off the canopy...lol

The modeler is the same as the 1 from the Aerosoft F-16... so eye-candy, there is indeed, the model is superb, engines, AB, the HUD and even the fueltanks are accurate...

And as i have been hearing, they also have an update coming out with an FDE made by an avionical engineer.

Not to mention but, when the TACPACK from VRS is coming out it will be implemented, you even have to use the same keystrokes as in the VRS

So personaly im more like a Viper guy, but i would recommend this plane definitely!

Whatever. There's too much discord for a small community. Let's try to go along to get along here.

For the records, the quite in post #51 isn't correct.

Why fight over one another..when there are other aircrafts to build?

I am looking for the French Rafale! I really need this. India is placing a large order for this.. I want to paint it with the Indian flag,,,and fly it around.

I know someone sold one for a while and had to pull it out of the market. If there is anyone who still has this and is willing to sell. I'll pay double! (Legally passing over the registration info/e-mail registered to the addon etc)

It isn't.

Huh ? It is. I'm starting to think we mean different things. I don't know why you post a preview for the f15.I had it. I know what it is and I know what it isn't.

Did you not return it before the SP was out?

I will go with that. Never bought any MIlViz products before but have read many pros and cons. Am waiting for their 732 to hit the skies, then will try this one.
