More update bugs?

Featured Replies

I decided to fly a few aerocaches today and the first I did was the A/C of the day. Easy to get and even flew back to the airport and landed. When I went to load another cache, it did not show that I had completed the aforementioned cache. I flew the cache again, and the same thing happened. I kept getting points for it, however.

This same thing occurred on the other four caches I flew. I didn't get the check mark for completion. This showed up when I exited the game and came back in. My A/C count was reset to what it was before I started today. Very strange.

I did a system reboot, and had the same results. I have just turned on my computer, and looked again. No cache completion. Wonder what's going on?

Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you.

Rick

Didn't happen to me. The aerocache I flew showed up as completed.

If you exit Flight and reload it, any aerocaches you got since the update do not show as completed. It appears that the information is not being uploaded to the Flight servers.

I've gotten the Maui Mountain aerocache of the day several times, 3000 points each, but it never sticks. Also, my Flight stats on the web site haven't changed since I installed the update.

It's been mentioned on the beta forum.

I can confirm that aerocaches that have been obtained after the update reset upon exiting the game. Today's Aerocache of the Day and the Banyan Aerocache, both of which I got today, have been reset for me. I have obtained the Banyan cache twice now, and it has also reset twice.

affirmative. got the daily ac of today and the flying high glider few minutes ago (after the update) and they show as not completed after i restarted flight...

It would appear that I lost an Achievement after the update. I lost Inverted. XP Grinder is also showing as both achieved and locked.

Thanks for confirming this for me. Glad to know it's not on my end (corrupted files). I guess they'll get it fixed soon. In the meantime, if you're interested in racking up EP's, keep flying the caches over and over. :LMAO:

Thank you.

Today upon starting Flight it reset my awards one by one but stopped short by almost half. 16 out of 34.

I have the same non sticking a/c for today as I and others had for yesterdays a/c.

The "My Flight" webpage is way off in most statistics but ironically shows my 34 awards.

Xp points are accumulated for getting the daily a/c but restarting Flight shows the aerocache unobtained.
