Apache Error 404

yes, we're aware of what is broken from other sites and from google. Google will reindex over time. Other sites I am not worried about so much, as some of them leech anyway. :)

 You say they leech if they post links to AVSIM ? It's your freedom not to care about AVSIM members who post links to the topics here, and not to care about other sites. This change did not only brake thousands of links in other sites, but also inside the AVSIM forums. Google will not correct them other time, and users will not come back to edit all their links inside their answers. More than 1.2 millions of links:

 Happy flying.

Someone at another forum was asking for help and provided this link which resulted in the 404 Error http://forum.avsim.net/topic/94850-pss-b777-problem-need-help-please/

However, if I edit the address manually and enter index.php?showtopic= the link works fine. http://forum.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=94850-pss-b777-problem-need-help-please/

This will be a show stopper for many people as they will not want to edit even one link, is there something that can be done at the back end to remedy this?
