I have just gotten fs2crew, 2 questions about it.

Featured Replies

Hey,

first i want to say how glad i am with the fs2crew for the NGX, they did a very great job! it can be very useful when i fly alone.

however when i am flying with my friend i would like to keep the pushback option, is that possible? also, when i am using fs2crew for more realistic feeling can i download a track or use a program that will simulate the track and the ground crew when pushing back?

one last thing, can i use it with fsdt gsx? thanks for the help in advance! Daniel.

You can use AES and GSX, the build in PMDG push back or the FSX push back, it doesn't matter.

The Problem with AES, GSX and The "PMDG" push back is, that you not can use the voice commands from FS2Crew to get the ground crew starting with the push back.

You then must use the 3rd party Software funktions. e.g. start the AES or GSX control center and request push back from there. Or request push back via the FMC, when you want to use the NGX build in funktion. (both programs also uses a kind of communication like "Release Brakes" and "Set Breaks" but without Voice Control )

By the way, AES and GSX have their own puch back truck.

Bryan did mention that he has been talking to FSDT, so maybe down the road we could see voice communication with GSX push back. We will wait and see. :Praying:

for me stopping the runaway pushback by "stop pushback"is only a half solutions. when the ground says pushback complete the plane will start moving again even if the brakes is on so back to shift P again and etc with the ground officer again. :-)

I don't know how you guys are re-triggering the pushback truck after the pushback is complete.

If you can consistently find a way to reproduce that behavior let me know.

I've done 100s of pushback and never had that happen.

Cheers,

Well i believe it is "before" the pushback is complete. This is because of the never ending pushback. But after a while after you say "stop pushback" the groundcrew will say "puschback is complete "and he will then start the process again:-) so i have to use shift-P again
