Some Info On The 787

Featured Replies

Much of the cockpit seems like it was designed by Apple. The Control Display Units (CDUs) are virtual, so you can move them from one MFD to another. In fact, you can configure the displays in 48 different ways, I think, though we have found a few favorites we will use to keep it simple. To move the cursor from one MFD to another, you can either use a button, or you can "flick" your finger across the trackpad (Cursor Control Device) to fling the cursor from one screen to the next - much like an iPad.

So, from this we can assume that the 787 will not support Flash? :LMAO:

10.You want to wave at all the kiddies at the St.Maarten fence as you taxi into the overrun just before you blast them all into the concrete wall or ocean.

That made my day. :LMAO:

"Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

Some great information.

The thing that comes to mind for me in the context of flight simulation is how difficult it might become to model the 787 and other airliners in the future such as Bombardier's CSeries to the same level as current airliners have been modeled given the increasing complexity of the avionics and systems in general.

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Plenty of reasons I can think of.

1. It's hot.

It's not bad here in Hawaii it usually only gets to 90 in HNL the rest of the places are cooler with nice breezes.

Again, another very valid reason for the flight deck windows....
