Reality XP GPS

Will the Eaglesoft Cirrus display route data from the Reality XP 430 units or is it driven solely by the native FSX GPS?

With the new update reality xp just released the rxp gns will show the flightplan on any hsi. This really brings up the value in my book. The 430 will now work with any glass ehsi.

So to answer your question, yes the rxp 430 will show up on the sr22 displays

That's fantastic news. Do you have the Eaglesoft SR22? Was it easy to integrate the RXP 430 into it/

I think you have to be careful about predicting what will or will not work, unless you have tested it!

There are custom coded glass gauges out there that do not necessarily play nice with other gauges,

so keep that in mind..

Yes that's true.

I saw somewhere (here I think) that someone did it, I have personally never done it.

They will integrate with any gauge that uses default FS integration. Third party gauges could be an issue as they are prioritised. like ISG1 gauges. Ive been using the new RXP GNS520 talking to the HSI and love it.; Looks nice in the Ceranado P46. FL PC12 amoung others. As far as the RXP GNS, its one of the best investments and usefull addons I have for GA or corporate jets usage and have got many, many hours of use out of it. Just to bad it doesn't use Navagraph updateable navdata. Its garmin navdata. With some steps it can be updated to mid 2011 navdata.

It would be nice if RXP would update their Flightline and Jetline gauges to work with FSX.

Do these full detail GPS affect frame rate negatively compared to the GPS that come with planes like the RV-7?

Also adding it to planes that don't have GPS, how bad is the frame rate hit?

Since Garmin is discontinuing these, are RXP working on any new Garmin based products?

I don't have any FPS issues with RXP

I'm not sure what JL is working on these days, other than the new 1.6 430w/530w units...

I think it was answered but on my end there is no route drawn on the avidyne's - if that's what you're asking. Possibly the new 1.6 RXP version fixes this.. Bert would be the one to ask.

Cera bell 222 also takes the 530. Larger screen makes it easier to read and use.

Do you have a edit for that? I put two 430's and it looks pretty bad hehe...

I've seen no framerate impact with the RXP units. If anything, they are better than the default FSX GPS which they replace.

Bert

Thank you Bert, again, for the update trial. really like it! I see no impacts on FPs using the RXP GNS.
