FS2Crew for Aerosoft Airbus X Extended

Featured Replies

Hi FS2Crew team!

I love your work on the new PMDG 737 NGX :Peace:

First I am not an owner of your products yet but reading reviews and seeing awesome videos on Youtube by Ronald C Griffin, I can say that your product brings FSX to reality. But only FSX? What about P3D? Do you support this simulator too? Because on future I will merge to P3D for performance reasons.

As you know Aerosoft is doing and preparing the upcoming Airbus X Extended on all bugs are solved and new features against the first version. So my second question is, are you guys pondering to the same product line to new Airbus X as you did for PMDG 737 NGX? Please guys think about that.

Hi,

FS2Crew NGX should work in Prepar 3D out of the box.

You just need to manually install it over to P3D.

Airbus X: Won't happen due to limited time and resources.

If I can find the time to do an Airbus, it'll probably be the FS Labs one, but "only" if they put out a competent SDK.

Cheers,

OK! Thanks Brian for your quick reply.

BTW, I hope the upcoming FSLabs A320 range will be the best Airbus systems simulation for FS :P

That's a shame Bryan... I have been waiting for the new updated Airbus X, but of course it would be useless without my FO!

Yeah, that's just checklists, and I already have something similar via an Apple iPhone / iPad device.

FS2Crew's big thing is that we'll use a real Airbus pilot and model all the flows and procedures.

Cheers,

I'll add my support to fs2crew for SOME version of a good A320. Both the Aerosoft Airbus X extended and FS Labs A320 look promising. We may get a pleasant surprise from Aerosoft - in that case FS2crew should not knock them automatically.

They've stated that they're working on the voicework, so don't panic :P.

I'm glad you included this because otherwise I would have been :Hypnotized: .

Each time I get excited at the idea of the Airbus x extended release, I am soon disappointed when I remember that Bryan won't be doing an FS2Crew... I wonder if he could change his mind... well Bryan?

He's got to keep his time dedicated for the FS2Crew Majestic Dash 8 and PMDG DC-6 :)

I think I'm going to have to hire 100 new programmers!

So what are you waiting for Bryan?

Do you look for people on the FSDeveloper forums?

Usually programmers can learn anything though if they are good at the fundamentals but it takes time I guess
