Stephen old friend, you may feel like this thread was heading south or that we are ridiculizing each other and I respect your view but I don't think it is.

 

We are just here between members exchanging ideas and having a healty debate on something, no name calling, no personal attack (as I myself am a whiner) but just a good, right to the point discussion between grown man on what some may consider a touchy subject for their own reasons. :drinks:

I have been informed again, that I am going down an unwise path. One must assume they are following this thread.

 

Julian my friend you have not broken any rules and the only difference between you and us is your not banned. Do what you want to do unless there is a rule stopping you. I'm not telling you to go and get yourself banned and join the 'whiners over at avsim' but after a day or so of wondering if I did something wrong I realised I wasn't missing out on to much being banned.

 

As for them following this thread there are always one or two guests viewing (the rest you should be able to guess).

What really make me lol about all this is if there MOD's had anything about them and with the best interests of Orbx at heart, used the same time they take to come here reading this.

They could have PM any of us when we where on the Orbx forums and I bet we all could of easily sorted out any problems within minutes.

 

But no they sooner hide behind the internet, never reply to a PM and Banned people with out so much of even a warning.

This forum would not be here if there MOD's had taken the time to sort any problems out with any of us when they saw a problem.

Now they have to spend there time looking over here because of the problem they have bought on by themselves.

Let me just add that reaching out with the long moderating arm to this forum is just bang out of order.

 

I only ever post in the support forum there these days. It's not worth it for anything else....

All such a great shame, because the Orbx scenery that's in the pipeline right now is absolutely breathtaking stuff. They've upped their game once again. Sadly the same cannot yet be said for customer relations.

Now I know why Marvel didn't include Batman in The Avengers.

@Hendo, it would be appreciated if you can stop kicking dirt in my face mate, stop quoting things that were said between you and I in private messages and please stop moaning about how you have been treated by me. I have given you chance after chance over at OZx after violating the rules, you came here moaning that I banned you from my servers there as well and I let you back in, did I get a thank you Jay from you ? Nope, instead you ignore me, go offline as soon as I show my face on TS and other things that you know full well what I am talking about. All your rubbish started on September 2nd, 2010 with your violation of the COPPA rules on various fora, I spoke to your dad via email but to this day I am still wondering if that was your dad or just you making an account. Maybe I will just send your parents a letter or have a good phone conversation with them instead to have a talk about your behaviour towards me. What behaviour you ask ? Well, just in this thread alone there is THREE direct references to my persona, disrespecting me and ridiculing me, so I would greatly appreciate someone here in power to do something about that because it is NOT appreciated.

My God, just had a look at your other posts on here Hendo, seriously mate my God, is THAT how you repay me for the things I have done for you over the years ? lol well, guess that will teach me to be kind to kids huh, very disappointed and hurt mate, thanks for nothing.

Can't we all just enjoy our hobby? Can we STOP and get over it? Nothing good will come from just constantly taking hits at Orbx. Seriously i'm starting to think that some of you come on here, just for the 'fun' of insulting them. And some of you have listed specific names, that is just rude and publically humiliating. There are so many things that have been repeated that I just get a headache browsing this forum now.

 

Maybe Orbx did make a mess at the beginning of the year, but stop living in the past and focus on the present!

 

I really feel sorry for Jay, he has to cope with all this bull. He uses nearly all his spare time to maintain servers, build them, pay for their operating costs, hours and hours of work which he doesn't have to do. But he still DOES IT! Does he get paid for it? NO! And what thanks does he get? Just take a look around this forum and you'll see! He doesn't deserve any bull from anyone. I swear out of all the humans in the world, he has the most patience and tolerance.

 

So i'll probably be the first to say on this entire forum, THANK YOU JAY for everything you've provided us for free and for not abandoning it because so many people give you rubbish.

 

I'm not surprised that the mods at Orbx are warning people on their forums considering the amount of rudeness in some of the threads on these forums. That 'BANNED' thread is just a pain to look at.

So i'll finalise this by saying, get your acts together people and just enjoy the hobby! If you really hate Orbx that much then why don't you just forget about it and buy stuff from other addon companies??? It's COMPLETELY unnessecarry to some here and make flaming posts.
