Trackir except for overhead panel and the centre console for which I use ECZA. I find neither truly satisfying by themselves but the combination is perfect.

TrackIR for everything, with it I can see and change all the switches/buttons that I need.

I used to think that I didn't need TrackIR until I used it once. Can't fly without it. I've read plenty of reviews regarding the combination of EZCA and TrackIR and it seems that is the way to go. EZCA will be part of my immersion experience soon.

Your poll is incomplete, as I use both EZDOK and TrackIR.

I had to choose "other".

You should understand that I can't have an answer for every possible combination. Thats is the reason I put up "other way".

If you read the first post it says: "If you something other please wright it as a comment."

I know that the grammar is totally wrong but you should get the point. Everyone else seemed to understand it.

The point of this poll was to look how many actually use an camera add-on and it seems as if a majority does. Since people who chose "other" write their setup as a post here (as you also did) I can simply take that amount and add it to whatever column I want. I just can't do it so it shows up on this thread.

I could also make more complicated calculations following different statistical models but that is just a bit overkill.

I hope this explains my intentions and reasoning.

Regards

Manfred

P.S. The correct sentence should be: "If you vote "other way" please write your add-on or add-on combination as an post"

D'Oh! :sorry: Never saw that option. Grammatic errors and this fail. Must have been really tired... Maybe I will succeed on a future poll, if I will have one.

But for my defense, as a 2D user my goal was to look how many persons use add-ons and how many don't. Since a clear majority uses add-ons I can understand why so many are arguing against the 2D. It seems as if (at this moment) only 8,6% are even using 2D. My biggest problem with the VC is that it is annoying to change the view to find a specific button. Now I understand that I also need to get something to able to make the movement easier.

I hope my text is making sense on why I did this poll.

Poll is nice, anyway, just the picture is not real enough. I use 2d panels, but I voted for "I use standard FSX controls", because I use that too. I have free track too, but with this kind of poll its impossible to select all that :)

I voted 'other way' because I use EZCA and TrackIR combined. Every camera view is created by EZCA, some have TrackIR enabled on them, some don't, according to necessity.

TrackIR + EZCA = Marriage made in FSXHeaven! "What therefore FSX has joined together, let no simmer put asunder"
