I'm with you Brian. I like that they've included the 700-1000 series, but Wilco has not been the greatest at producing quality aircraft. That said, the folks that actually designed and built the ERJ and E-Jets series (feelThere) did NOT design the new CRJ's. I've asked on this forum and on the feelThere forum who actually designed it, and so far no one knows. I don't think people who have a history with Wilco will jump at the chance to purchase this CRJ series when they don't know who actually designed it (and will support it - remember Wilco doesn't have a support forum for this kind of stuff).

I'm really interested to see how the features of this CRJ series stacks up against the long-awaited CRJ 700/900 from Digital Aviation/Aerosoft. That one seems to be delayed for quite some time though, and it's only the 700/900.

So, anyone that purchases the new CRJ from Wilco, I think we'd all be interested in how you like it and what the features are!

Mark

Just downloaded WILCO CRJ NEXT GEN and i am really disapointed. NO 2D panel, (I am flying 2D panel most of the time), very few aircraft systems are modeled,

and even if the VC panel looks O.K, it is hard to read the control panel. They have created a 2D control panel but hard to use as you cannot see the EADI/EHSI.

My overall rating is 10 out of 20, for a really LITE airplane. In addition they are few bugs and hope they will be fixed soon.

Sounds like the fix is to get a refund...

Meh, i'm done with them. Embraer ERJ were nice, so were the 170 and 190 but that's it. There are better companies to spend my money on.

CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11

Well, then again, Wilco didn't build the ERJ/E-Jets. They just published them. Who knows who actually built the new CRJ's, but it wasn't feelThere (the company that built the ERJ/E-Jets).

yeah.; I had a bad feeling about this..

sorry . I hope you can get your money back

I do like the erj145 and ejets v2 - but when its all sudden done.. just give me the pmdg -600 - I'm learning that now.. so I'm kind of busy anyway.

Ciao!

Looks good outside and in. But it fly's like the stock FSX CRJ....Terrible!

It feels like the CG is on needle point...Aircraft response is over sensitive and trim is super sensitive.

On take off roll when you pull back on the yoke, the plane jerks into the air then it becomes a balance act! On landing...as soon as the mains touch down it jerks the nose down instead of that nice main touchdown and smooth ease of the nose down.

Also I noticed that if you completely shut the power down "Cold and dark" your outside lights are still on.

This thing needs a patch in a bad way.

I've had it with Wilco/Feelthere...They sell software which states on the box compatability with FSX SP2 win7 etc...

I have had the Legacy working great in FSX.FSX-SP1; Then came Sp2 and we all know what happened to a lot of software with that, not only Wilcos'

But they continue to sell software as SP" compatible and it isn't? Legacy for instancestill doesn't have Landing/Taxi lights If it does I'd like to see picures and eventually a video where these are depicted. Because Wilco on theire ad for the Legacy make sure NO NIGHT Shots are available! The same thing happened to 737 Pilot in Command (FSX) I know these are probably old, as you can agree a patch could be provided!

Then I purchased Citation X Landing and taxi lights went weird,( made squares on the gound reflection) Could be my GC? And the FE stands still in the aisle through out the flight. Knowing these are not nessecities fro flight just eye-candy, still it doesn't live up to the box,in any way. Upon sending support requests all one get is the request has been sent FWD to theire Tech Team...Never to be heard of again.

An independant consultantcontacted me one day and says to forget any improvement coming from wilco or feelthere. Now If their own empployees say this allhope is lost. Not a chance of gettig your money back as it says in the download purchase agreement A RIP OFF!

Glad I realized you posted the same paragraph(s) 3 times. I think your issues are rare. I've been a feelThere customer since the beginning, and they're very helpful as long as you follow the rules of the forum and have the minimum PC requirements.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but that isn't the norm.

I apologize for my messy post SDFlyer,I realize now I have to reply at the top of the thread and not at the reply window at the bottom.

Wilco doesn't hav a support forum, they use feeltheres' I have attempted sevral time to get a descent answer in there but the moderator "Stuppy" threatens to delete ones' posts if you don't meet his post requirements; I'm too old to be treated like a kid.

Berlopez

I am aware I don't meet min. sys. req's. Still whne I try t contact them either wilco or felthere,I get replies to contact the other. I'm aware that Wilco nly publishes feelthere products ,doesn't design them But the bowncing back and forth for a simple fix...Like the lights on Legacy. After all they have published new softwarer for FSX SP2 such as the Avanti P180 and that has Landing/Taxi Lights.

PS Lost my Edit option, therefore this new post.Sorry.Why does I get Reply to this topic option and then it doesn't continue, unless I use the top option.

Letter to Wilco. Here is how I beat myself in the head with a hammer this morning. Like talking to a wall! :)

Dear Sirs,

Your history of customer support in the sim communtiy is "infamous" One only

needs to browse a few flight community forums to come to that conclusion.

The products released are incomplete and there seems to be a willingness to

not follow through with updates and or upgrades. I am very disappointed not

only with the errors I am recieving with the CRJ NX but the lack of FMC

functionality also. If functions such as the ability to change waypoint

crossing altitudes or detailed approach procedures are to be omitted, the

product should be advertised as a lite version. Another point is 90% of the

systems are not modeled thus being a Lite version. Your unwillingness to

establish a customer support forum also, IMO, shows the lack of concern for

your customers. With Wilco's past history of support, or the lack of, I

felt no other option but to make PayPal aware of the situation , perhaps in

hopes others may be warned.

ArDee

Well said Brian...Lets hope Wilco or Feelthere, which ever decides to take on responsability for the addons do something about it. They do make nice software...It's just a real shame that this has to happen with most of it.

Bernardo

Bernardo,

I'm not sure if you glazed over what I wrote, or just didn't see it, so I'll make it bold. FEELTHERE DID NOT MAKE THIS CRJ. Feelthere only supports their products (not those developed soley for Wilco) on their forum. They DO NOT support Wilco products on their forum.
