I apologize for my missunderstanding...I was under the impression that Wilco is only a marketting outlet for Feelthere and that they didn't develope/ design software and that they support Feelthere products only in theire forum via a link to emit.com.

Sorry about that,

Bernardo

No worries Bernardo. I believe a lot of folks think that because feelThere has used Wilco for several of their products. Actually, many of the owners of feelThere products that had to purchase them through Wilco have commented to Vic and Scoob about Wilco's lack of customer support, a flawed downloading system, and downright arrogance. Wilco was getting better, but it seems they've gone back to their old ways.

feelThere now publishes their own stuff, as well as products from other developers. Unfortunately the stigma of Wilco/feelThere and a lack of support or completed projects is still there... even if feelThere didn't make the product.

Mark: I personally have to thank you for your patients and appreciation for these explanations regarding this subject, Nobody has made it clear, including the moderators in theire forums.

Uncalled for arrogance is another thing all together...( reason for me not wanting to visit that forum; except for a single time where I thought support was good, but that limited it self to that one one post). I'm not an FMC flyer.

I have been, since day of purchase and recieved code for download of theire Cessna Citation X had problems with it. These have just mounted, despite the independant consultants' willingness to help; Perhaps my sys. isn't big enough to run the software.

Intel Core 2 cpu 1.8-1.79 GHz 1022 Mb; Nvidia Ge Force 7500 LE; realtek on board MS FF2

I just attempted a flight with Cit.X the IRS is dead, has been since I got an update from Christophe CitationX_SP2d.exe; This hasn't helped at all. I also own Legacy and at least some SP's have shown up for it like the vc window fix,, still no lights?

I have reisntalled CX several times to see if the IRS becomes active, Nada! Now my wx doesn't work either.

I owned several of theire products before SP2 came about and made a mess of everything...It must be said?

Well, I am another extremely disappointed owner of the crj. I will go as far as to say the old crj is better than the new. I can barely read the panel. The click spot to select nav source won't do anything for me. The PDF, mfd, eicas are very poor. I think they just link it to the default gps info because there is no declutter like a real crj. If you turn on waypoints it is just un readable outside 10 mile range.. The fuel cutoffs are ripped from the 737 and totally incorrect to how the crj works. Overhead is extremely limited on functionality. The start sequence requires you to selet the continuous ignition on which is not true, the bleed source only allows right or left and not both. Hydraulics do not match the systems page on the mfd. The list goes on and on. Then as stated above it flys like crap. The detail on the external model is very bad. There is not fadec simulation. The only advancement from the old crj ng is that you can input airways. You lose the ability to pick transitions to arrivals and departures. Do not buy this plane! I certainly regret it.

So am I, as stated before in my replies above. Both Legacy and CitationX; Even if I am not a FMC flier,Never have managed to use the computer, let alone set it up.

As I wrote maybe because of my system specs, the software deosn't deliver.( I will not ignore this fact, nor will I blame wilco or feelthere for it not working). Some time systems work for me like wx and NAV on Legacy, not by any chance on Cit.X? They use default FSX gauges programming,so it should be a problem...All together.

I use now Thanks to Paul J Alacrity PC which is profiled to my FSX\Gold Installation and that has helped a bit on visuals on certain a/c.

The consultants explained to me that allgauges come from stock, except the FMC.

I have added the default GPS to both by adding the window to the panels, but I guess this only provides for eyecandy for me.Without having the right NAV sorce is useless. I'm trying to add it like it was added to capsims'727 via the default Cessna 172 gauge.but have not been succesful. I'm no expert in this matters.

Sir,

"Indeed, we didn't allow to edit the speed/alt for each points. This is intentional as it is included into our Pilot in Command label products (737PIC evo, Airbus Evolution,...)."

So now, Wilco, you have to distingish between PIC and regular?

ArDee

Thank you to those who have posted. I was tempted, but not at all now. I already have one Wilco brick (A400M) I don't need another.

For those wishing to add Ernie's wonderful ISG1 Smith's FMC and proline gauges to the CRJ I have the cfg file for it. It does make the FMC MUCH more usable and realistic. It works very well. PMme

You see that's exactly what we're talking about here.. Why the false adverstisement. The following was taken from the Wilcopub website:

SYSTEMS :

Realistic Flight Management Computer :

- Full management of the worldwide Navigraph database, including SID & STAR- That's ok for the most part

- Full Flight Plan management with lateral and vertical navigation- Incorrect/ false advertisement

"we didn't allow to edit the speed/alt for each points. This is intentional as it is included into our Pilot in Command label products (737PIC evo, Airbus Evolution

- Direct function to any waypoint-That's ok

- Full FIX management (distance, radial, Abeam)

- VNav advisory- That's flawed but Ok

- Other functions: POS Init, MSG history

- Traffic & Collision Avoidance System II (TCAS) simulation with visual Traffic Advisory-Does not work- False advertising

- Fully digital avionic with new flight director logic for takeoff, digital standby indicator, new engine start logic,…

- Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) with multiple callouts

- Compatible with Navigraph database

- Pop up EFIS screens (PFD, ED,...) for multi-monitor displays

- Numerous warnings and caution messages

- Multi Function Displays including NAV, Plan, Rose, Radio modes,…

- Comprehensive and accurate autopilot system

- Panel Hotspots to quickly access multiple 2D panels

- Battery and generators switches fully operative with corresponding action

- APU start up/shutdown sequences fully simulated for a complete Cold & Dark cockpit-Incorrect... completely. Why?

- Anti-icing system

- Fully working FADEC for engine management

And you wonder why people are angry!!! Don't worry. I'm sure this will be deleted because its the truth!!

I really wish I had browsed this forum before I bought the dang software. When Wilco made available for download I jumped on it, thinking I couldn't wait to get my hands on it-crap. I can only but agree with what has been already posted here and again, this will probably be the last Wilco software I buy. I do a lot better with the old CRJ package or with one of the default FSX CRJs and panel revisions.

Glad I realized you posted the same paragraph(s) 3 times. I think your issues are rare. I've been a feelThere customer since the beginning, and they're very helpful as long as you follow the rules of the forum and have the minimum PC requirements.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but that isn't the norm.

Maybe it isn't the "norm" but it has certainly been my experience. I purchased the original CRJ from Wilco and it was never flyable from day 1. They refused to assist me. And my computer is a 2600K OC'ed to 4.4gHz, 16GB of RAM, and 2 560ti video cards. I think that qualifies as "enough" computer. Their customer service is deplorable, and that is an understatement. I have not had these problems with FeelThere, only Wilco. I purchased the CRJ NextGen hoping that the original problems would have been solved, and some of them have been, but many have not. This is likely the final purchase from Wilco that I will be making.

John,

Again... Wilco and feelThere are two separate companies. As far as your system spec go - I'm glad you think that qualifies as enough, but obvious there was something wrong with the installer, your computer or video card/driver. I have a hard time believing that they just hung you out to dry (unless you bought the product within the last couple years (it's been out since 2003 or 04 I think).

I did not dispute that Wlco and FeelThere are two different companies. But the simple fact is that Wilco is the company selling the product, and they are responsible for offering support. They are the ones taking the customers money, so they are responsible for the satisfaction of those customers. And I don't really care if you have a hard time believing it, that is what happened. I purchased the product in 2009 and was offered ZERO support on it when it did not work. If they wish to sell a product that the don't intend to support then they need to make that absolutely clear on their sales site. It does not matter a bit whether I bought the product in 2003 or 2012. I spent money on something that DID NOT work and was offered no resolution by the company that I paid. Maybe you think that is acceptable, I don't.

I also wish that I would have read the posts on this forum before downloading the software. I too couldn't wait to get my hand on it. CRJ Version 1 is by far the better product.

Does anyone know if there are any patches out to help with some of the short-comings?

I've just purchased and downloaded a Wilco Citation X for FS2004 and unbelievably, as the product has been on the market for several years Wilco have still not corrected the heading failure problem. When I try to reset the Hdg with the pedestal mounted knob after aligning to any one of the three generated positions I get a big red X and a heading failure indication. A request for technical assistance to Wilco elicited the reply "we are researching the problem!" What sort of support is this?
