To fix this problem caused by FTX start FTX Central

Select Tools > Scenery Library Configuration > FTX Scenery Library Insertion Points

You should then be able to set where FTX central inserts itself rather than having it continually force itself to the top of the scenery library.

I just did a flight from here in the default Cub. Scenery was so good I was tempted to land in the carpark at the shopping center and pick up a few thing on the way by.

Frame rates were averaging in the 60's. Outstanding.

Thanks again Anthony.

Do all your airports need to be above ORBX?

Lately I've noticed they are all below even the big pack..

Should I force them all up to the top?

Yes, you should put mine above ORBX. Set up your scenery library in the correct order and once that is sorted you use set the FTX Scenery library insertion points using FTX Central so it will remember where it should insert itself instead of always sticking the ORBX files at the top of the library.

The basic rule of thumb with the scenery library is that you have the larger more general areas at the bottom and the smaller more detailed areas towards the top. If you have any ORBX airports you will notice that they sit above the ORBX entries such as FTXAU_Roads, Shores and scenery. The lower FTX entries include things such as landclass, roads, coastlines etc for each of the four regions in Australia. When making an airport you go into more detail so any airports should sit above those FTXAU entries.

Thanks Anthony,

So I should put all the OzX airfields above ORBX, then Ants Aussie Airports above that.

Cheers
