June 19, 201213 yr Hello, Is it possible to add the Combi B744 model in the new B747? I don't know how many airlines use the combi model, all I know is that KLM has a few of them. Regards,
June 19, 201213 yr I may be wrong on this, but I seem to remember KLM is the only operator currently using the -400M. Name available upon request
June 19, 201213 yr I may be wrong on this, but I seem to remember KLM is the only operator currently using the -400M. I haven't heard any 744 operator using the combi-model other than KLM. But remember their stance on the winglets for the 736. Nobody operated the winglet version so they didn't model it. Someone is operating the -400M, so maybe they could model it in the new 744? June 19, 201213 yr EVA Airways (BR) and Asiana Airlines (OZ) both also operate the Combi variant of the -400. They are however in the process of slowly getting them converted to the -400BCF/BDSFs. Edward Hou Ted H
June 23, 201213 yr Canadian (then later Air Canada) used to operate the -400 Combi model. The 3 of em were apparently unique combi's with even stronger floors than the freighters. Not sure where they went. Patrick Houghton
June 23, 201213 yr Air China has them also. I know at one time Air France had them. I am sure there are even more airlines that had them. Just do a search on Airliners.net, and see how many there. June 23, 201213 yr Not to sound crude or anything, but in all honesty I'd rather see PMDG starting on another new project rather than 'wasting' precious development time on that combi model... simply not needed imo. Thibault Dosunmu

June 24, 201213 yr Unlikely, - 400/F and -8i/F are what we have planned. Now then, I think that the new 747-8 will be not just a visual model, but a fully accurate one. Correct? i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
June 24, 201213 yr Has been mentioned several times before. Yes, it will be a full feature 747-8i/f model. Name available upon request
June 26, 201213 yr Unlikely, - 400/F and -8i/F are what we have planned. It's probably a lost hope, but will a 744 BCF be modeled? Seeing as they are somewhat common-ish Jarrad Symes Perph, Western Australia
June 27, 201213 yr It's probably a lost hope, but will a 744 BCF be modeled? Seeing as they are somewhat common-ish It already exists on the old 747, so why not on the v2... Regards, Renzo Marcus
June 28, 201213 yr It already exists on the old 747, so why not on the v2... Are you sure you are not referring to the LCF?? The original featured the pax and new-build cargo variant. Not the converted freighter (pax fuselage with cargo interior).Or am I missing something?? Jarrad Symes Perph, Western Australia
June 28, 201213 yr It already exists on the old 747, so why not on the v2... The old 747 only had the 747-400 Passenger and 747-400 Freighter versions. The 747-8i, 747-800F, and 747-400 LCF (not the BCF) were visual expansions only. The 747-400 BCF was never modeled. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
