If you want proof of their garbage there's a search function feel free to use it it's free. Show me the proof, I have yet to see it other then unsubstantiated charges, or blanket statements. Here's an example of my experience with it. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
July 13, 201213 yr So..... how about that weather? :) Guys all we've gotten here is that it's down to preference (surprise) The QW is a light sim the CS while it has more systems has some flaws. How did we get onto the 767's? Anyway the CS has most of the systems , they just dont interact (is that a good way of putting it) and some problems that make it not good. While the Level D is not visually appealing it's systems are top notch. And it's systems were complete right out of the box. Hopefully this has helped. Lee Sent using Tapatalk
July 13, 201213 yr tf51d, you won't give up would you, what would people gain by lying? Or proving anything to you, let it go and continue to enjoy whatever they release, no one is trying to stop you.

Oh, I get it now, it's ok for CS flamers like you to spout of one liners like it's crap, incomplete, but when someone challenges you to back up those statements, that's not ok!! Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
July 13, 201213 yr Yep, because I couldn't care less about you or your need of proof. Move on. Oh and, I never said it was crap. I just didn't understand how you could defend something dozens of others talk badly of. Because of this there isn't any need of proof, or is everyone a liar? I shouldn't even be answering anymore, I'm sorry that this thread turned into this everyone. I'll shut up now. :(

The search function and google is all you need to find your magical unicorn of proof. Enjoy your crusade however. Randy Swofford
July 13, 201213 yr The night lighting in the CS 757 is totally broken. Another glitch, among many, is that there is no way to input a descend speed in the fmc that is both kts and Mach, only one or the other. Also if you manually input a descend speed in the fmc, then the vnav will not observe the speed restriction below 10K even if it's in the FMC and will also not observe speed restrictions at waypoints. It does not follow VNAV on final approach especially "above" crossing restrictions which VNAV seems to totally ignore. Finally if there is a way to input a speed above/below (ie 220B) at waypoints I sure haven't figured that one out. So yes, the CS 757 is broken in demonstrably provable ways and has been for a long time. I will gladly stick with PMDG. It's too bad the level-d 757 appears to be dead and the lvl-d 767 is getting more and more graphically outdated, though.
July 13, 201213 yr If compered B-757 QW and CS I would be take CS. But B-757 by PSS more better the CS because it have more realism logick of system adn realism dinamic.
July 13, 201213 yr Another problem with the CS 757 is that it doesnt calculate the Top of Descent properly in all situations. There's a workaround to circumvent that, OK, but we shouldnt really have to use workarounds to be able to get around all the bugs Johan Pettersen
July 14, 201213 yr Author I'm sorry to have started such an inflammatory thread regarding the pros and cons of the CS 757! Since I started the thread I did purchase the CS version of this awesome aircraft. It's not perfect but seems to fly OK. I like the variety of models that QWings have, but noticed in the CS version that there's sound "rumble" when flaps are extended, and the cockpit sounds when the engines are at TOGA are awesome. I do have the Level D B763 and the amazing NGX, and would agree with others that neither of these 757's are in the same league. :). But simming is fun with anything that can get off the ground, regardless of advertised features that don't work. Life is too short, or in my case my simmimg time is too limited after work, real flying and board meetings, to get too upset. Thanks to everyone for their comments. Bruce. ASEL, Instrument.
