I'd say that if your joystick is capable of putting max-power reverse-thrust on a single-prop Cessna, that does indicate a flaw.

I'd say if you can't select the joystick menu-move your throttle axis and select "throttle" you shouldn't be allowed near a Cessna-lol

Well, in all fairness, I never really had to configure the controls on one. They were already set up at the factory. :o

I do have a little time in a real 172, and I could not find the prop reverse anywere on it...

It's next to the "auto-land" button.

That would be the ignition switch, right? :D

This has a distinct odor of "It's different, so it sucks."

I have heard this line over and over from many XP users, and I just dont buy it. Why? First, as a 3D Artist that works in Max, Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop and so on, I know complex UI's and different UI's. Just mastering 1 of those programs takes years.

Second, I had a XP10 expert walk me though configuring my joystick (GoranM) via Skype, and it still took me 2 hours to get to the point I was flying comfortably. XP is just not intuitive.

So... it's a user problem, not a serious design flaw, that checking the wrong box on the XP control setup causes the aircraft's engine to be turned around facing backwards, so that using the throttle causes the plane to move backward rather than forward?

Seems he is reading from Apple's playbook on this one. "My aircraft is flying in the wrong direction! Help!" "Your using it wrong"

So, and another topic is getting locked... I don't think anyone will be surprised.
