July 29, 201213 yr I like flying the 767, but haven't found any good freeware ones. I have the PMDG 737 and I really like the quality of their products, but unfortunately they haven't made a 767. I'm looking at the Level-D 767 and the CLS 767, but not sure which one is better. Anyone have any suggestions? They don't have to be Level-D or CLS, those are just the two that I know of. July 29, 201213 yr Hi Samuel, It depends on your system. I have both Captain Sim and Level D's 767 and I much prefer the Level D as it isn't as buggy as the CS version. For a freeware version I have seen people rave about Project Open Sky's 767 v4 http://www.projectopensky.com/index.php?app=downloads Good luck. \Robert Hamlich/
July 29, 201213 yr Author I'm currently using the Project Open Sky 767 and it is good not great. Maybe it is just because I've started using PMDG planes and now it is hard for me to go back. Samuel Scully
July 29, 201213 yr Level D is fantastic and it's systems simulation is on par with PMDG. It's a bit dated in graphics but runs great. There's a VC texture upgrade on their forums. If you don't mind the looks being a bit old school I'd highly recommend it. Randy Swofford
July 29, 201213 yr Author I expect the 767 cockpit to look a little older since the 200 and 300 were built in 1984 and 1986 respectively. I just want to have a good quality cockpit and for it to look like a real 767 cockpit Samuel Scully

July 30, 201213 yr Take a look at this thread to help you make a decision http://forum.avsim.net/topic/377359-who-has-the-best-767-payware-out-there/ Personally, I have had the LDS 767 for a number of years now, and still enjoy it, but have not used it for a couple of months since I did a reinstall. Sure, its outdated, but you can do some mods and it is still quite good. Brent Lewis
July 30, 201213 yr Hi, I fly only the Level D 767 on all my flights, I have over a 1000 hours in it and never get boarded. Yup the graphics on the VC is dated but I don't fly looking at buttons. What I want is a realistic, smooth flying and systems that work like the real plane. Eye candy does not trump system accuracy for me. Now having said that, can't wait till the Level D team does an update. Putting PMDG level of graphic detail on the 767 would be just outstanding. Bob
