September 29, 201213 yr I enjoy it a lot...no issues from me. I've been splitting my tubeliner time between this and the NGX. September 29, 201213 yr Currently my favorite plane. I've had a couple of small issues, but nothing that has affected flying at all and frankly I have not been this into a new aircraft in a long time. Support has been a bit questionable in my opinion. In a couple of threads I've started most responses have come from other customers and not the staff themselves. That leaves me a bit unsettled, but in the end the aircraft is such a joy to fly that I've overlooked that a bit. If you need a good regional bird, run, don't walk to pick this one up. - Aaron
September 30, 201213 yr I was hoping they would release a patch to fix the few nagging issues with it, hopefully soon so I can get back to flying.
September 30, 201213 yr @slait and @Gear Up - can you explain specifically what sort of issues you are both referring to, just so I know? Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

September 30, 201213 yr I have an open issue that involves GEN4 not firing up. Flick it on, no power from it, and the light remains lit. Doesn't really affect any portion of the flight as I get power from GEN1 with no issues, and indeed it seems to be an intermittent problem. It may even be related to interoperability between my Saitek switch panel and the plane, but I haven't narrowed it down just yet. Certainly nothing so drastic as to ground the plane. Of my last 10 flights, 7 of them were in the RJ. - Aaron
September 30, 201213 yr hmm, almost sounds like a flight file related issue...interesting...well so far there's this and also sounds like there may be compatibitlity issues with the d3d9 files used by shader mods (have to admit this one bothers me). Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

Is your default flight saved with a default aircraft? @slait and @Gear Up - can you explain specifically what sort of issues you are both referring to, just so I know? Nothing major, just little things that are annoying. The last 2 V speed dials are wrongly flipped in the virtual cockpit thrust rating panel. Even if you set the flight director to single in the ini file it never saves. The auto throttle doesn't seem to work right in lnav/vnav mode when approach top of climb, it goes way back to idle causing your speed to drop to stall levels. Sometimes when starting engines the throttles stick and cannot be set to cutoff. And lastly you can't change the transponder code in the vc, only 2d panel. Overall one of the best addons for fsx imo. Bug list is small and will be a perfect product once a patch is released.
September 30, 201213 yr Yeah, my default flight is a fully shut down Cessna. Pretty sure it's related to my Saitek hardware. I'm creating a custom config for it now to see if that may help. - Aaron
October 1, 201213 yr yea that auto throttle issue must really be annoying I would agree :-) How about the RJ70, do you feel it fly's well?...I know its a subjective question but I have no idea what the correct numbers should be and how close she is to them? (im interested in the smallest jet and i believe the 70 is it). BTW - can't tell you how much I appreciate all your inputs/thoughts. Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
