Hi Cedric,

Go to this website: http://www.bing.com/...EDE&FORM=IQFRBA

There you can find several pictures of the airport.

Also go to: http://www.juneau.org/airport/index.php where you might find some more useful information.

Hope that helps some,

Bill in Colorado

FWIW, since Juneau is a public airport run by the city and borough, there should be a lot of documens which are public documents. Most states have public records laws which allow for the inspection of such documents upon request.. I owuld expect to find plans, pictures and architectural drawings.

You might not get a lot of cooperation. It sort of depends on who you talk to. On the other hand, Juneau is a small city, so thre probablly are only a couple of people you need to deal with.

Plus authorities are real paranoid about terrorism, so you might get a visit from your local French Intelligence Service. Airports are considered a target for terrorists.

As for the community, you might check with the Chamber of Commerce. They also might have a local historical society. which has an archive of pictures. People who work for local museums tend to be interested in stuff like this.

However, before all is said and done, you might find that you actually have to visit. I lived in Anchorage for about a decade and have worked for local governments. Things are a lot easie if you are physically present. However, if you explain nicely what you are trying to do, you might get a lot of help. It's cheap advertising for the city.

Also, it is starting to get cold in Alaska, and they will have their first snow which sticks shortly. I think there is only so much you can do from your home.

Hi Cedric,

I loved this Airport in XPLANE 9 - where I had TBs of high resolution photo texture for North America and Europe. The Juneau Approach with a Maddog is not that easy. Now as I am on FSX (PMDG and Maddog) I would love to go to this Airport again. I hope you are able to follow your project and I am looking forward to your message: Download it here!

Kind Regards Tom
