Any decent YVR scenery for FSX? I know FS Dream Team has one in the making, but is there anything I can use

in the meantime?

Won't cover the airport itself, but you can get Orbx PNW and Vancouver+ 3 to make the city and surrounding terrain look really nice.

As Ryan stated above, Orbx PNW is a great package but YVR is only Mildly spruced up. Don grovestein (hope I didn't butcher his name) has some freeware scenery for YYJ Victoria that looks pretty good. Search his name in the avsim library.

 

FSDT is going to make a great rendition of YVR! And I will be sure to point out any missed/inaccuracies as I am at YVR almost ever weekend spotting, so needless to say, I know the area well!

There's two versions of Vancouver Airport in the Avsim Library, both by Nigel Grant: -

 

cyvr5.zip for use without Vancouver+

 

and

 

cyvr+.zip for use with Vancouver+

 

Both are pretty decent addons.

I'll put in a plug for Vancouver+ 3.

I installed it and the scenery looks great except for the fact that the ground scenery bleeds through. I have used it and it is quite distracting. I am patiently (no wait, impatiently) waiting for the FSDreamteam version.
