September 2, 201213 yr Author Commercial Member I did mean off of our website and not offf of the F1 site... only the 310 is for sale on F1. September 2, 201213 yr Scott, you can download the latest release directly from the Milviz website, then "Reinstall" using the Flight1 .key file... Excellent - thanks much gents! (Apologies if this is a double post - some of my posts don't seem to be making it out the last couple of days.) BTW, since its release and the first round of fixes, this has become, by far, my most flown and favorite GA plane. You guys have made it awfully hard to climb into any other GA virtual cockpit with the job you've done here. Don't know why this plane doesn't get more buzz, but I certainly recommend it when I have the chance. Scott
September 2, 201213 yr Hi, I have downloaded the file from your webpage several times (antivirus disabled) and all of them it gives me a "Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid file..." message. I have tried the T-38 download and it opens fine. Can you help?. Thanks
September 2, 201213 yr Author Commercial Member It will have to wait until i am back from vacation. I will be leaving the B-55 on sale for a bit longer than the rest... so no worries. September 4, 201213 yr Thanks for the service pack. After installing, I saw that this one is still needed on the B55. Or am I mixing something up? Fuel flow is definitely too high. If you know how to edit the cfg file this would be an easy fix. Just change the fuel flow scalar from 1.0 to 0.8 in the [GeneralEngineData] section. fuel_flow_scalar= 0.8 http://forum.avsim.n...w/#entry2412226
September 4, 201213 yr Thanks for the service pack. After installing, I saw that this one is still needed on the B55. Or am I mixing something up? Agreed. I made the same change after a flight with the new service pack. I'm also a bit confused about the carb heat initialization. Is this now not needed? Thanks, Scott

Thanks, Scott If you load the B55 version, "carb heat" is automatically enabled. If you load the E55 version, it is not enabled. Edited September 4, 201213 yr by n4gix Fr. September 4, 201213 yr I purchased Milviz B55 from the AVSIM store. Will the product update SP1A be available there also? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 4, 201213 yr If you load the E55 version, "carb heat" is automatically enabled. If you load the B55 version, it is not enabled. How can this be done to have it also enables on the b55 or am I missing something here.?
September 4, 201213 yr If you load the E55 version, "carb heat" is automatically enabled. If you load the B55 version, it is not enabled. I assume then (always a dangerous thing!) that we still need to enable it manually as we did pre-SP, otherwise we'll see a bit too much performance due to the adjustments that Bernt made in the B55 FDE? Thanks, Scott

This is what happens when one gets too old... Scott, I got my B's and E's reversed, so I've edited my post to correct that. Oddly enough, it should be easy to remember, because it was Bernt who requested the auto-carb-heat for the B model! :sorry: Fr. September 4, 201213 yr Author Commercial Member for now... yes. We will look at making another SP available but right now.. we are concentrating on getting the 737 into beta and the sabre out the door... priorities priorities... September 4, 201213 yr Moderator I purchased Milviz B55 from the AVSIM store. Will the product update SP1A be available there also? There really is no "update" per se at all. We instead provide a completely brand new installer with all the changes included. These new installers are provided to all of the sales outlets at the same time. When those sales outlets put the new installer up for download is their responsibility. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
September 4, 201213 yr Fr. Bill, Thanks for the information. Maybe it is a mistake purchasing from the AVSIM "store" if updates are always delayed by a unknown period (days/week) of time? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
