I was wondering if anyone can tell me what a high quality add on plane for FSX is? I am looking to add some new planes to my library.

In all honesty, look at PMDG's offerings if heavy systems is your thing, Captain Sim's if you want more eye candy and slightly less sytems detail, and if you want an Airbus look at Aerosofts upcoming offering.

Qualitywings has some good stuff.

Looking at your specs and not knowing what video card you are running, I would suggest sticking with planes that are not too heavy on frame rates....

 

Your best bet is to go to the forums of some of the devs and see what users say about performance.

 

One brand I know should work ok withyour system is QualityWings, both their 757 as well as their new release, the Bae 146

 

There are others as well but either of these would be a good start and give you an idea if your system can handle it. The 146 is through Flight 1 so if you find your system is bogging down, you have 30 days to get a refund, you can't lose.

6.Black Box Simulation A320(if you want airbus, this is the work in progres, but very very promising, best FBW system for now. Flight Sim Labs wil make a good airbus too)
