PS : I've heard in the news that the Police are looking for an Irish guy with a false beard who deplaned first. They only know his first name is Ron !

Probably wasn't ticks though, as some of the comments noted. They stick like glue once they're attached and are plainly visible. Our cat gets them occasionally and they do take some getting off. Most likely fleas.
