It's working now. Thanks, Tom. I just left it alone and went out and mowed the yard. Came back in just now and all is good.

I will break it again and you can come over and mow mine! Big%20Grin.gif

No problem Tom. I'll have my secretary check my schedule and have her have my people contact your people.

Thank you.

Still not working for me. I have IE9, 64-bit. The forums I go to still show all threads as "unread", and when I click on the dot it brings me to the first post, instead of the last unread one. I had cleared my browser cache before checking.

I just checked again with IE9 and I can assure you that the read function is working correctly.

Hi Tom,

Everything seems to be working now. Many thanks!!

I still have the same problem. I open a post, read it, close it and it is still in Bold type. I exit Firefox. Empty the cache. Go back to the forum. Posts that I have read are still in Bold. I read one again ...etc etc same again stays Bold ? Must I also send you my secretary ? Could it be her that changes them, she is very Bold ?

Sorry to revive this thread, but I'm having trouble marking any forum as read again. It started out only in the Hangar Chat forum this afternoon, but onw it seems to be a problem in any given forum. I just tried to mark the FSX forum as read, pressed F5, and all topics were marked as unread again. Now I wouldn't really care if it was only that threads aren't marked, because I know which topics I've read, but clicking the "Go to the first unread post" button takes me to the very first post of the thread, and carefully going down to where I stopped reading can be really annoying.

Thanks for all suggestions,

Flo

PS. I already flushed my browser cache, that didn't help.

Florian

Seems to work again. Thanks, Tom!

Flo,

I can't replicate the issue. Is thus still happening?

Sincerely,

Chase

Everything's fine again, since Tom identified a new module as the cause. I thought it was clear from my reply to him. Thanks anyways for your help, Chase.
