DX10 Preview FSX Opens on Wrong Monitor

StackHash error (did not know it was called that) is another benefit. Same here closing in full screen you get the error, close windowed no error.

Nice to hear I'm not alone with the StackHash error but it only happens when in DX10 mode and I close FSX in full screen mode. Close in windowed mode, no error. Should I ever find a solution, you'll be the first to know.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks to all working on DX10 (AKA FS11).

I hope a big brain can figure out how to have flights open on the main monitor. It's a pain in the butt.

Just make sure you go to Windowed Mode before closing FSX and you'll have no problem as FSX will open in Windowed Mode on the main monitor then you'll only have to Alt-Enter to go to Full Screen. Just one more step in the process of starting up FSX which isn't too bad.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks Paul... that got some great new info going in this thread... which should also help with building our FS Community knowledge base in a number of areas in addition to implementing DX10 "preview" mode !

PS: I'll be curious what you and SteveJP may find relevant to implementing DX10 ...in this intriguing thread:
