The locked and unlocked version share the same core file... there's no difference.

So should I be able to see a profile for PMDG 747?

You can create your own or use the 777 or any other.  It doesn't really make much difference.

I'll check with PMDG to see if they meant to include a dedicated 747 profile in their installer.

Cheers,

Thanks for the great service and fast response!

I've updated the Queen and locked RAAS file, as per this thread.

The volume still doesn't save for me.  I've checked the version and it matches.  :-\

Can it be that RAAS included in the FS2Crew special set has not yet been updated ? I redownloaded and installed, but it still says 2.4.0.7 .

Kind regards.

Similar problems

Mine says 2.6.14.3.  I just rechecked so it is up to date.  Once I go out of windowed mode or full screen and reopen the dialog, the volume is back down.  I don't have any special permissions or prevention for this, as I'm running as admin.  All other add-ons save my settings.

I do click "save and close" button.  If I reopen the RAAS dialog settings quickly the volume is up, but it doesn't save this setting.  Either exiting windowed mode or some switching in the game is turning it back down.

If you own the Special Edition, send me a Support Ticket.

For saving the volume setting in RAAS:   Are you using the PMDG 777 or 747.  Those products will override the RAAS master volume setting; they're able to interface with RAAS directly.

Ok, that explains it.  It's the 747 locked version, so they would need to work with you on addressing it?  Compared to a lot of other flight deck sounds (alarms, EGPW, et cetera), the RAAS voice is quite low.  Thanks,  Chris

Hello Bryan i have bought in 2014 the bundle "FS2Crew - Special Collection Set" with RAAS in it, the last version i had was the 2.4.0.7 so i downloaded again the big zip file from my link received and surprised the version of RAAS is still 2.4.0.7 and not the last one. Is it normal ?

Thanks

Bryan,

Is it possible to ask the FlightSim Store to update their download library with the newest version of RAASPro? I just downloaded v2.4.0.7 (yet again) when v2.6.14.3 has been out for six weeks.

I, and I'm sure others, would really appreciate it.

TIA
