Worst moment for Fatal Error

OK, Thanks. So there should not be any UIAutomationCore.dll in those 2 folders? Because I remember finding it in one of them when I was copying the new file. I'll put it in the FSX folder and see if that works.

Regards,

No my friend. If there are any UIAutomationCore.dll or UIAutomationCore.mui files in those 2 folders leave them there, windows or some other installer placed them there.

Only the file from the link above (post #5) is the one that goes into the FSX folder.

Do not move files from System folders.

In the past, when you saw that file, did you overwrite it?

Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

OK, I will do it like that. Thanks

@ firehawk44 The topic has been moved. I did not post it as to get help as I gave up long time on this issue, but still I'll try the advices given here.

Hi Sagga,

Anytime you have a CTD or discuss a CTD, it goes in this forum. If you did not post the error to get help, what was your purpose of placing it in the FSX Forum? Most of your fellow flight simmers do not have crashes and many of them are system related (not FSX). FSX is a very stable program as long as you do not try to abuse it with settings higher than your system can handle.

Best regards,

Jim

Hello Jim,

I will say it again. It's a misunderstanding but I don't mind. I posted it because of the "fun" fact that it happened to me during landing. And my question was that if people have had a CTD at moments like this. Otherwise I'm well aware of this CTD forum and I know that many people have CTD's.

And sorry for the image size. Since I'm hosting it on my forum, I didn't know it would be against your rules. Looks like that got me a warning. Fair enough  !

No big deal. Didn't want to take it beyond a simple warning message. Didn't give you any points for it was just a verbal deal only.

Sincerely,

Chase

After 1 hour preparation and 2 hours flight, I got a reward.

Noooooo! That's terrible! Did make me chuckle a bit, though. Please don't take offence. I really feel bad for you. But that screenshot with the airport up ahead and the windows error... it's epic! Makes me think of Bill Gates' presentation of Windows 95 plugging in a USB device and receiving a BSOD;

Yeah I have gotten those sometimes too, last time when descending towards Havana after some hours of flight from Mexico city, indeed it's frustrating.
