July 4, 200421 yr I'm very interested as well. Would the replay show moveable control surfaces? Thats one thing that really bugs me about the defualt replay system - the control surfaces don't move at all...
July 4, 200421 yr YES, the control surfaces are moving during replay/playback. That was one of the reasons why I started that module, I wanted to see them moving in outside view and on the wing views. :-)Regards, Matthias :-wave
July 4, 200421 yr I would definately be interested in testing the module as I spend a good deal of my flightsim time creating videos.Couple of open-ended comments:1. - I have tried about every vid capture program out there and to me the biggest issue is those evil "studders" as you mentioned. No program has been able to solve that I think due to the intensive CPU useage on FS2004. Maybe you have found the secret formula?!?!2. - Would AI disappear like the normal replay or would it remain?3. - Can it run with the "Hide Info Text=" parameter set? That can cause problems.4. - Recording time limit or open-ended?5. - What format would you capture in? .WMV? .AVI (user defined?!)6. - Really would luv an export feature where you could capture a PURE digital output in real-time onto a 2nd PC (relieves the added stress to the Flightsim CPU). But that might take it out of the "freeware" catagory.Just ideas... email me if interested for testing:[email protected]
July 4, 200421 yr I am assuming here, but if your module acts as a flight with pre programmed actions the AI would show up and if the time of day is the same the AI should be near or in exactly the same place as it was during the recording.Dropped you a mail Matthias, would be glad to test it also.Regards,Romanhttp://home.new.rr.com/spokes2112/images/Image2.gif FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap

I want to be able to record a flight with zero fps loss and then burn it onto a DVD. I have "Game Cam" but I hate the fps hit. When I had a video card with TV out using an RCA jack I recorded flights onto a VCR/ VHS tape in real time, but that wasn't digital quality.I was wondering if I could have "Game Cam" running on a different computer that was hooked into network with another computer via LAN or ether net that was running the flight sim. The flight sim computer wouldn't have to run "Game Cam" on the same processor. It would seem that the second computer would do the video capture which could then be imported back into the primary computer to edit the video in a movie program before burning a DVD.
July 6, 200421 yr Another thing you might consider is that the FS9 instant replay omits some (or all?) effects that you might be able to include. In particular, water drop effects on water bomber aircraft are not displayed in instant replay.

July 6, 200421 yr Wonderful Idea Matthias.Put me down for it too please?Dave. KNT5100www.knightair.orgIf it burns Kerosene and makes a noise, I'm interested. Dave Taylor
July 6, 200421 yr Hi, Matthias.I'd be very interested in a flight recorder that is enhanced over the current "instant replay" feature. Just getting some minimal playback controls and the ability to save and replay the recording would make a big difference. I would also love to see visible AI traffic in the recordings, and an accurate representation of control surface/landing gear movements.Anyway ... I just wanted to let you know that there is another interested person who can't wait to see what you come up with.
July 6, 200421 yr Hi Scott,I put you on my list. (Your email adress is a bit hard to read, hope I got it right)And no, it will definitely not go payware ;-)Regards, Matthias :-)
July 6, 200421 yr Hi Dave,if you want to take part in alpha testing I need your email address.Regards, Matthias :-)
