Quebecair 707: another extinct bird

Passing just south of Kingston, Ontario. (Not FSAltitude's finest moment; the low-res blurriness is especially evident here.)

Nice dude! where can you find this bird?

I was watching some vids on this plane last night. Man that thing was noisey! There's a vid showing a flyover of both a 707 and a 787 on Youtube to highlight the difference in engine noise - apparently the 787 is 90% quieter (it's believable - the engines on the 707 nearly blow the mic).

Another thing is the stream of pollution those things left behind - they leave a great brown trail wherever they go. Fascinating plane to read about because it just shows how far jets have come and how different things once were.

Oh and the thought of being in that thing's cockpit at 35,000 ft makes me claustrophobic. It also doesn't appear to have an autopilot so was it handflown the whole time?
