Tell me this is a hoax

Maybe she shouldn't text in a deer crossing. You know, someone has to graduate at the bottom of the class.

In that area of British Columbia there are a lot more moose then there are people.

There are a very few places in Canada where failure to bag the yearly moose will cause a serious lack of food. Incomes are very low there.

Take for instance NHL star Jonathon Cheechoo. One year he lead the NHL in goals scored (55) and our local San Jose TV station did a show on our Sharks star's early life.

He was born and raised on Moose Factory Island, in the town of Moose Factory, located on the mouth of the Moose river. The nearest town of any size is only accessed by water taxi, that town is Moosonee. (All quite true, literally).

Anyways, on this program, showing his parent's house, every single other house on the street had a moose hanging in the back yard. Obviously a necessity for survival.

Cheechoo had to take that water taxi every day to access a hockey team with an ice rink where he learned to play the game as a boy growing up.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

If ever given the chance, this is a spectacular part of the country to visit, This community is accessible by a train called 'The Polar Bear Express'. This is a trip of a lifetime to go that far north to James Bay, and you can see Polar Bear in the area.

This really was a hoax! In fact one of the greatest April fools of all time done by the Beeb in 1957.

They had hundreds of calls asking where one could buy the trees!!!!!

Brilliant. And only the Brits could pull that off ! Even today, you can imagine many watching this on the net, and the whole thing goes over their heads

Just imagine the bemused faces I get when I show it to my Italian students!! It is very convincing!!!

Where can I buy a "spaghetti tree?" Do they come in bushes, 'cause I don't really have enough room for a full sized tree in my hothouse.

Does anyone have a spätzle bush? I really prefer the Bavarian form of spaghetti. :Clown:

Here's another cute one...
