The upgrade worked a treat. I did a refresh and then reinstall fsx and all my add-dons. I am only having issues with MCXP, but that should be fixed soon. System wide I am noticing a slight distortion of sound off my onboard card occasionally. That is not observed on my USB headset.

 

Otherwise it's great. Boot times are very quick even on non ssd.

yeah I had noticed the boot times being very good on my old laptop on which I tried the RC, was like about 6/8 seconds to being logged, while 7 takes about twice as much. The laptop being about 5 years old.

Has Win 8 done away with SuperFetch etc..?
