GSX and MCE

Featured Replies

I have posted on the GSX forum and found another guy with the same issues?

The issue has been resolved!

Apparently, GSX uses two servers to administer the "upgrades" and one of the servers had a glitch (missing file) that caused the upgrade to render the program faulty!

I was one of the small handful of guys who copped for the bad upgrade.

Umberto has corrected it now and GSX works as it should!

Now, where was that push back truck?:-):-)

Cheers

David

Hey,

I think Gerald said they will investigate the "updated" GSX over the next week. There may be hidden complexities with the new GSX?

In the meantime, click my You Tube link and take a gander at my latest upload. That was just done the day before yesterday. "Icy push back"...

David.

Here is a copy of the post I just put on the GSX forum. Just out of interest really and if anyone else see this error, then its not just me?

"The add-on<unknown> is causing the couatl scripting engine to restart"

I keep getting this error, intermittently at different Orbx airports. Usually after a flight at the gate. I am using MCE to request GSX services?

After the erroneous download (upgrade) issue earlier this month, I thought all was back to normal. ( At that time I re installed GSX with the latest version.) But after the error box appears, when I select to re download the manager, the manager is always current? So everything appears to be up to date. Unless I have re downloaded a corrupt/missing file in the re download?

Usually if I request Couatl to re initialize and re start I can get things working again.

I am beginning to think my 32 bit P3dv3.4 hf2 is groaning under the load of add ons and can not cope with the low VAS I am seeing. 400 MB remaining is "normal" in complex aircraft, when arriving at the gate after a flight....that is, when I can finish the flight without an Oom!

Thanks.

Try very latest MCE package: http://www.multicrewxp.com/Downloads.html

And read this thread to see which issues have been addressed since previous version.

I'm running FSX Steam Edition and I just updated MCE and GSX today.  When I try to have dispatch send any services, the GSX dialog opens up, but nothing is selected and it times out.  GSX just came out with a new version yesterday so, it probably broke something.  Other than that the program has been working great.

By going to P3D4.2 and the latest FSL Airbus my Couatl is not crashing anymore:biggrin:.

I did comment that in "GSX/AES not working..then please report it here". But it says

comment is "hidden".??
