January 5, 20179 yr I can confirm I have experienced the same thing as 331BK, I also do t get the correct direction for push back at times, I request "ground pushback left" and it selects push back right option. Rob

January 5, 20179 yr I used to have pushback trouble. I got so frustrated that I even tried mouse macros from Voice Attack! But I bit the bullet and after "upgrading" (groan) to P3dv3.4 HF2, and the very latest MCE .9.1 AND the latest GSX (both the program and the manager)....all is well. I use Orbx/Fly Tampa airports. Just by the by, I must mention that certain Orbx parking positions don't play well with GSX. I posted on the GSX forum and Umberto confirmed from my error logs that Orbx parking positions were error prone. Not all, but some. So beware! I recently (yesterday) tried the de-ice and pushback routine with the Aerosoft Bus, Majestic Dash 8, NGX, Learjet...all worked fine. (I have a video in the can) I don't know if this will help, but its my personal experience. Also, as Gerald has said, the air temp must be 6c or below for the de ice. From my perspective the push back requires that I wait for the procedure to complete before touching any controls or the mouse. The new window set up with P3d and GSX has changed things. Just my two penneth. Regards, David
January 5, 20179 yr i tried it at this moment with the aerosoft a320x but with the same result. copilot request de icing the trucks are cumming after the de icing the ground enginier says that he will send the pushback track for which we are waiting. then nothing happens :( C. What GSX boxes appear after the de ice trucks finish their work? I occasionally get the GSX pushback request boxes for pushback, after the de icing. But these should be quickly acted upon by the MCE program. If they appear then disappear quickly I believe MCE is working on them. If they stay up it must be that MCE has stopped working on them? Remember MCE is a multi threaded program, it may be something in that? Have you sent a request to support? They may know something we don't? Regards David
January 5, 20179 yr Hey, after the de-icing trucks leaved i see shortly the gsx window and it quiclky disapperas as you said. but afterwards i waited for about 1 minute and nothing happend. Didn`t call support as i thoug maybee i ask in the forum first, because maybee it`s an error on my procedures. C. January 5, 20179 yr Not sure if this is connected to the de-icing problems mentionned here, but I'm also sometimes still struggling with the pushback sequence. Most of the time it works as it should. But sometimes GSX waits for me to start my engines before pushback, even though I said "no" or "negative" to the respective question (the question only comes after the corresponding GSX menu already is closed). Also sometimes the pushback is executed in the wrong direction. I suspect it might have to do with parking positions where GSX does not offer both left and right pushback.
January 5, 20179 yr Just to add to the deice bit and then push back. I have had the deice and then the MCE menu both pop up quickly and pop up and stay up with no further push back happening. I have tested this on known good airport stands which are UK2000. Rob
January 6, 20179 yr Most of the time it works as it should. But sometimes GSX waits for me to start my engines before pushback, even though I said "no" or "negative" to the respective question (the question only comes after the corresponding GSX menu already is closed). Yes, I have herd the FO say "need to start engines". But as you say most of the time it works. So, after the de ice trucks have completed, begin the start sequence maybe?? I will post a video this weekend with a "perfect" de ice and PB sequence. The "most of the time", speaks of a multi threaded error, but what do I know about such complexities? I just fly:-):-) Cheers David
January 6, 20179 yr The problem with the engine start before pushback does not occur in icing conditions because GSX only gives this option when there are no icing conditions. In icing conditions GSX tells that the engines should be started after the pushback is completed. Looking forward to your video.

In icing conditions GSX tells that the engines should be started after the pushback is completed. Looking forward to your video. And yet, I have had the FO ask for engine start before the push back part of the procedure begins? It is like the two parts of the procedure get a bit disjointed sometimes! Its those little gremlins at work:-):-) I will edit the movie today.
January 6, 20179 yr very interessted to see how it works for you C. W. ,Ryzen 9 5950X @H2O , 32 GB RAM DDR4 3600 Mhz CL15 , Corsair MP600 Pro Watercooled 2 TB for P3D, Samsung SSD980 1 TB for Addons and Crucial MMX500, Red Devil Ultimate 6900 XT
January 6, 20179 yr Has anyone recently "updated" the Couatl "Live Update"? I just did and my GSX is completely broken! It worked three days ago, now after the "Live update" everything's knackered! I cant see any vehicles, I cant set any parameters in the GSX Customise positions menu. Its busted!!! I have posted on the GSX forum and found another guy with the same issues? A complete reinstall has done nothing! Anyone here seeing the same?
January 6, 20179 yr Commercial Member There are enough reports of things possibly broken that this warrants a closer look. For one thing, we didn't bother updating MCE side handling GSX when the new fuelling system was announced, as we didn't think it would affect other things. Maybe other aspects have changed, and MCE has to adjust the very latest. Shouldn't take more than a week though. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
