Thinking of buying the 747X

Featured Replies

Well I got so bored of waiting for the new 747(really do think it unlikely well see the 747 this year now, 777 looking very unlikely to) that I'm off to go fly a real 744 level d instead! Shame not get to practice before hand, but getting used now to PMDGs Caribbean time frame for project completion, bloody glad they don't work on projects for me! ;)

Regards

I have the same stance as Rob at the Munich conference....I think the original version is a great aircraft, but it's hard to stomach after sitting in the NGX, and to a degree, the MD11. My advice is wait for V2.

Oddly enough, neither the 777 or 747v2 are on my wish list at the moment (that consists of the Majestic Q400 and FSL A320), but I strongly imagine the 747v2 would be my next natural purchase.

That's on my wish list too as well as the Carenado TBM-850 and the 777
