November 23, 201213 yr Ever since I registered a weird shaking of the ground (textures) in XP10. It's as if there was a huge earthquake. It's most obvious when sitting on the ground and looking to the side+down from the cockpit. The closer the textures are, the more shaky. It's not noticeable while taxiing or during flight so it's not that bad most of the time. Just want to know if anybody else has it and what's going on here... Thanks Flo WIN7, XP10.20beta2, GTX670 Flo B.
November 23, 201213 yr You need to increase your flight models from one to, I use three. That is the most probable cause. Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
November 23, 201213 yr Author Thanks Donald, unfortunately increasing the flight models didn't do anything . You don't have that shaking at all, am I right? Flo Flo B.
November 23, 201213 yr You may be talking about the shimmering issue. If that is the case, then you can try raising the AA (Anti-Aliasing) and also try using Supersampling instead of Multisampling. The only problem of using Supersampling is that this method will tax you video card. But with you pcs spec I dont think this will be a big deal. You can actually read all about this stuff right there in the nVidia Control Panel's "Help", so no guesswork there. November 23, 201213 yr Author Thanks Carlos, but this has nothing to do with shimmering. I'm running FXAA+2xSSAA and I'm fine with it. It's completely different from shimmering and flickering, it's really shaking: the ground textures move left and right, back and forth very fast for about one feet. Well, I feel I have to do a video... Flo B.

Well, I feel I have to do a video... Hmmm, is this happening with any aircraft/helo? I think if I remember right, when I was trying out the demo, I happen to have what I think is the same swaying/shaking you are talking about, but this was only with the Helicopters. With the full version, I haven't had this issue at all. Sorry I couldn't help you more Flo. November 23, 201213 yr Author Thanks anyway, Carlos. I didn't try ALL planes but several add-on planes (carenado ones and the CRJ) and some of the default ones (I never touched a helo at all). It's all the same so far... Damn, I was almost sure that everybody would have this issue, now it seems it's just me. Flo B.
November 23, 201213 yr Try deleting the preferences, its a long shot but it might work. November 23, 201213 yr Remembered this from some time ago. Took care of mine. I believe I had to raise the flight models as well, but it worked - finally. Good luck. Under menu selection 'view' there is an option called "toggle Cinema Verite"- I clicked it once and the shaking is gone. John Wingold

November 24, 201213 yr Author Thanks folks, but none of this helped. I think I will contact customer support about it. Flo Flo B.
November 24, 201213 yr I'm having the same issue if there is one and indeed the ground texture is kind of shaking when you look at it, they shake but not too strong, anyway it's not annoying at all but is a strange issue. It's not a cinema verite thing by the way. Cheers, Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 Alexander Colka
November 24, 201213 yr Author Glad to hear that. Always spooky to be "the only one". I contacted tech support...and will report back if anything worth mentioning happens. Cheers Flo Flo B.
November 25, 201213 yr it happened to me as well, as soon I loaded an airplane, crazy shaking just happens, this was the last time I've used it x-plane I think " 10.10RC1 " Don't know the cause of it. This is my earlier thread about this issue as well other problem. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/390045-ga-airplanes-bank-to-the-left-on-the-ground/

Mine is a GTX670 with latest beta driver on WIN7 - 64. Flo B.
