Just like the US Presidential campaign that devolved into finger pointing, and a candidate being called a "liar"... now it looks like Airbus is doing the same. Thought they were better than this...

It's all relevant. Like the article says, formalities have been dropped and "lines" crossed. The "ponocchio" reference was obviously taken from the same playbook used in the election . It used to be that competitors touted their tech, services,etc. But to create an advertisement that outwardly calls the other a liar?

Boeing and Airbus going at each other? Noooooo? Next you're going to tell me Democrats and Republicans don't get a long and that sir is a world I refuse to believe in.

Your just talking about a marketing department...Big deal.

 

Reality is Airbus and Boeing are too companies with shared suppliers that assemble aircraft, and both companies cannot assemble aircraft quickly enough to meet the market demand. Airliners choose their aircraft accordingly and most have a mix of Airbus / Boeing in their fleets.
