December 5, 201213 yr Just like the US Presidential campaign that devolved into finger pointing, and a candidate being called a "liar"... now it looks like Airbus is doing the same. Thought they were better than this... http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-26/airbus-ads-jab-boeing-on-new-jets-as-planemaker-rivalry-sharpens.html
December 5, 201213 yr "Airbus crybabies"... or Boeing liars? This is no more than a commercial sqabble. Gerry Howard
December 5, 201213 yr Airbus vs Boeing and presidential candidates in one topic? This cannot be civil. As I've read here before....."pass the popcorn"
December 5, 201213 yr Author It's all relevant. Like the article says, formalities have been dropped and "lines" crossed. The "ponocchio" reference was obviously taken from the same playbook used in the election . It used to be that competitors touted their tech, services, etc. But to create an advertisement that outwardly calls the other a liar?

December 5, 201213 yr Boeing and Airbus going at each other? Noooooo? Next you're going to tell me Democrats and Republicans don't get a long and that sir is a world I refuse to believe in. Randy Swofford
December 5, 201213 yr Your just talking about a marketing department...Big deal. Reality is Airbus and Boeing are too companies with shared suppliers that assemble aircraft, and both companies cannot assemble aircraft quickly enough to meet the market demand. Airliners choose their aircraft accordingly and most have a mix of Airbus / Boeing in their fleets. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
