I do not take legal advice from rank amateur latrine lawyers whose predominantly confrontational posts over the last year have done nothing whatsoever to engender either confidence or respect... and I don't take legal advice from you either.

If you have any questions, consult your attorney. If Solution Systems had done this rather than use boilerplate, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I assume that your descent to personal attacks means you've run out of rational arguments.

Hello Ian old friend.

Long time no see since its been a long time since I was down in ORBX land. If you give me a good enough set of reasons to close this subject, and my colleagues and I agree, we will do just that.

Kind regards,

I think the single reason is circular repetition. We've been around the for and against at least twice so no one should be in any doubt.

Now the flamers and probably trolls are with us, and they will drag us down into the jungle.

KInd regards,

Ian McPhail

And the actual question was answered long ago. The developer prefers that his product not be used with P3D, so in respect to the developer, people shouldn't install it in P3D. That part is simple.

It starts getting circular when people discuss what the EULA really means. The problems are pretty much the same as those with the prohibited P3D EULA discussions.

If the last word is so important, let Hook have it.

But I rest my case .... the one for closing this conversation.

+1

As for peoples discussing the Eula for P3D you are right about that, that is why I always refer to a company like PMDG where they have made a dicision based on what ever their boat full of laywers told them to do, as I can see PMDG don't want to be involved with P3D exactly because of the way P3D Eula is written, they also made their position clear in their own post.

I add my support to Ian and his position in this discussion.

Yesterday the admins discussed whether or not to close this thread without coming to a decision.

Today it seems, to me, to be a bit clearer to see that this thread has run its course, although I am sure the subject will keep popping up again and again.

So Ian, for old times sake looking back to when we were writing elsewhere, and under other happier circumstances, your suggestion for closure is accepted.

Thread closed.

Kind regards,

and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
