January 19, 201313 yr Commercial Member Turn on the autopilot and then enable all the usual stuff and then enable LNAV. Then it should follow the route if you have it set up correctly.
January 19, 201313 yr Moderator Try the two tutorials that comes with the plane. It will explain everything and give you a good idea how to operate the a/c. That being said, before you take off you can turn on the flight directors and autothrottle, arm both LNAV or Heading Select and VNAV. Once in the air over 400' AGL you can turn on the autopilot and it will track your course vertically and horizontally. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

January 19, 201313 yr Author Can anyone tell me where I can find my heading number in the FMC? Also, whenever Im about to enter waypoints, my NavLog only shows 2 waypoints, the arrival airport and destination airport, no waypoints in between,
January 19, 201313 yr When on that page you need to hit next to go to page 2 and enter more waypoint//airways there. Well worth doing the tutorials.... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

January 21, 201313 yr BEST ngx tutorials. Watch all of them though. That guys makes some fantastic tutorials... God knows how he does it, and flies at the same time... I guess the brain is on auto-pilot too at some point, but they are totally well worth watching, several times over.. Richard... Amateur Pilot and UK Web Hosting Guru 🙂
