Peter Hager's A380
Hello all, I'm just getting into xplane and while I was looking for aircraft Peter's A380 caught my eye. From what I have seen and read the systems modeling seem quite well. The main question I have is how is the 3D cockpit. I don't like 2D and if the 3D cockpit doesn't hold up that is a deal breaker. Also is the FMS well modeled because if it is not I will end up buying the 757.

How to know when to descend
Hey guys, I recently bought the Coolsky DC-9 and it is great. But I am so use to computerized flight systems and because of this I have no idea when to start my descent in this thing (Kind of embarrassing). So as simple as it might be, I need a bit of help.

PFPX template for the a300?
I was looking around but I didn't find anything, maybe someone has had better luck.

Please recommend a 737 for me
Milviz if you want to fly the -200. QWsim is making a classic that will be 'less complicated' than the pmdg one. Personally I think setting up the FMC is part of the fun but I think it is going to be hard to find something with a high quality VC but with simplistic features. maybe Captain sim but that is another -200 and -100

FMC is a godforsaken device
It's easy to choose the right runways, just look at the winds and listen to the metars before hand. and the AIRAC is available for very cheap on navigraphs website.

Best US Payware Airports for a transatlantic flight
FSDT is really good on frames, or so I have heard. There is Flytampa KBOS (really good) also Flaytampa Montreal. (if you don't mind flying out of Canada) This one isn't north east but I heard Taxi2gate's KMCO is also good. oh, and Flightbeam's KIAD looks amazing.
- Sometimes this hobby is frustrating as heck!

Will dual monitors effect FPS?

Will dual monitors effect FPS?
Hi, Recently I have been getting really bad FPS in flight sim. I just got an extra monitor and i was wondering if this was causing the drop. I have an I7-3770K clocked at 3.5 and a GTX640.

QW 737!
From what I read on some of the comments, when they read "complexity...simplified" they think almost default level simulation. If you fly the airbus x then you will be fine with this aircraft. I think it will be better simulated than the airbus x. I'm sure it will have an FMC with everything that you will need in it, filling in your flight plan, entering you weights, V-speeds, and ect. And how many people fly with failures on? I think most people just want to get from point A to point B without an engine flame out. But maybe that's just me. Anyway, I have full faith in the past enigmasim now QW team.

QW 737!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't wait

Radar Addon
There are addons like the Reality XP wx500 and the captain sim weather radar that offer pop up panels. Some aircraft like the PMDG j41 have Reality XP integration where it can be on the actual aircraft panel itself but to my knowledge not may aircraft have this feature. Ifly is making an accurate weather radar for their 737 to work with Active sky Next if you want to wait for that.
